Quiet, natural, peace.

Care to wake up to a thriving coral reef beneath your feet? I’ve not stayed somewhere where I’ve felt so peaceful. There was a constant gentle sea breeze rolling in, and the sound of wavelets lapping a the shore. The room was lovely and authentic Javanese style structure, made mostly out of bamboo. Depending on tides, the water can lose clarity for a few hours, but every evening it was crystal clear and teeming with life! We saw clownfish, sting rays, and plenty more. The 2 brothers were great hosts, friendly and with good enough English that they could help with any small things for our rooms. The owners (Astrid and Tono) were so helpful, with fantastic English. We could book everything we needed to through them. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to be back soon.

Far too expensive for simple resort.

Astrid hangs on money together. She offers to help with transport, but after calculation she does have a very high commission for herself. Service is really bad; They said that no scooters were for rent because of crowds, but after going to the center by taxi it turned out that enough scooters were for rent. Looks like she has appointments with one rental company, too. Resort is really not accessible without taxi or scooter. So we haven't been able to explore island. Did she have expensive private snorkeling trip which guide later told us is 500k pp price; she made us pay 2.2 million. Taxi ride turned out to cost 300k more than she had written, she knew we came from airport instead of port. so again 2x 300k too much. She declines all responsibility and offers a discount for next stay... like we go to Indonesia every year... she knows that. Became very annoying chat contact from both sides. But cottages themselves look really nice, but is not as nice as it looks. Ripple, holes everywhere. Mosquito netting makes that bed so dense that no fan air flows through, scaffolding to cottage unlit and therefore pitch black after 6.30 and super slippery after rain. Resort so remote that is not accessible in the dark by scooter and not recommended on foot: dirtroad is also really dirt. Extra bed was nothing more than mattress on the floor!!

Floating paradise tranquility.

The welcome was super nice by Tono Astrid and the caring staff in this very exotic and peaceful island.
I was overwhelmed by its beautiful surroundings. After a long journey from the Netherlands I found my inner peace.
The experience of getting there was great driving though the road and see glimpses of the beautiful sea on my way to Floating paradise.
The bungalow I stayed in was well equipped and had an amazing view of the bay, you can swim off the jetty and snorkel around to see lovely coral and take a canoe over to the turtle sanctuary.
They organised everything I wanted for me from island hopping to see some wonderful coral and empty beaches. tour with a great lunch included.
The local community is friendly and i helped with beach cleaning with the children of Kejora a nature based school Astrid and Tono have helped set up.
I felt very privileged to have stayed at this unique location ❤️

Tranquil nautre getaway

Wonderful experience in a remote part of a beautiful island, surrounded by nature. The hosts Astrid and Tono were awesome, with plenty of activities such as boat trips, kayaking, snorkelling etc if you want. If you prefer to relax there are hammocks, comfortable beanbags and it's a perfect place to read and unwind. There is some internet, but it's more of a chance to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and really unwind. I also did yoga with Astrid which was superb. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds and mosquito nets if you want to use them. At night it was completely silent and I slept really well. Very clean and food was delicious! 100% recommend.

Far too expensive for simple resort.

Looks nice but that's exterior. No ventilation when you close your mosquito net, everything is made simplistic. Omgevung on land very nasty. Far too expensive for what you get
