Wonderful starting point for Nusa Penida!!

Excellent Stay at Nusa Penida

Citiz's House was one of the most comfortable places I stayed in Nusa Penida. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. Its location is another big advantage, just a 10–15 minute walk from Nusa Penida Port, making it very convenient for both arrival and departure.
What truly stood out was the hospitality. The host was genuinely warm, friendly, and always willing to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived.
Overall, Citiz's House offers excellent value, comfortable accommodation, and outstanding hospitality. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Kindness alone cannot bear everything.

The road to get there is very difficult. On the day of check-in, I asked via WhatsApp if I could walk from the port, and received a reply that it was sufficient. Of course, it might have been enough if you didn't have a suitcase, but if you have a suitcase, definitely take a taxi. But taxis don’t go far anyway. Even if you have a suitcase, you have to ride a motorcycle. The walking route shown on Google Maps was blocked, so I got really lost, and Flora and her mother from a nearby shopping center helped me. The road to and from is very narrow and very dark at night. There is a port and restaurants nearby.
There was construction right next to the accommodation, so there was constant noise. I used a shower filter, and had to wash while watching the filter change in real time. Even if the door is locked, it opens when pushed from the outside. It opens without much force. I don’t know if it’s just room 1.
There was an issue along the way, so I had to check out the next day. The hosts made me understand and I understood, but I decided I couldn't stay any longer. They were very friendly and I made a reservation after reading a review from a Korean who said they were friendly too. However, the inconvenience that must be endured through kindness alone is too great. Unless you are a Korean who enjoys dynamic world travel... your experience here may not be pleasant.

Great stay

Nice place to stay in Nusa Penida Island. Very friendly owner and staff. They were very helpful with everything. Our room was very comfy, aircon worked very well, hot shower, breakfast included. Location is very good too

Good place to stay in Nusa Penida. I was planning to stay for 2 nights but I felt in love with the island and I ended up staying 1 week. I totally recommend Citiz Guesthouse to stay in Penida, rooms are clean, breakfast is good and the owners are very nice people! We'll be back!
