Comfortable stay with very friendly staff

This was a lovely hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The room was very clean and a comfortable size with air-conditioning, and very minimal noise. Downstairs they have a restaurant/cafe with delicious food for a good price and a cosy communal area in the front with comfy seats. During my stay, there was a blackout in North Sumatra, meaning the electricity supply had to be rationed. Obviously the hotel have no control over the blackout but handled it perfectly and kept all guests well informed with when power would be turned on and off. A big thank you to Jeffri who was incredibly helpful in planning my Java travel route to ensure I make the most of my time, giving me tips and travel options and activities for each place, and was very enthusiastic in doing so. Great location and a good value for the price. Thank you for such a lovely stay ☺️

A very good value for money. The hotel lobby and the restaurant have a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice building, average room

Quite hard to find. The house, garden and exterior are much nicer than the room itself - the decor and vintage pieces are very fancy, the room is very basic. For Medan standard, the staff is quite capable. WARNING: do not, under any circumstances, book transportation via reception, if they call PT Bagus Holidays Taxi company. THE WORST experience with a travel company since 2010 in Asia. They have it all: being late, lying about the number of passengers in the car, nonsensical driving around while telling into phone, violating not only all rules but common sense. Was supposed to come at 9, arrived empty at 9:30, at 11:20 we were still app. 2 km from our hotel, after having driven around Medan in circles. It seemed that the driver was picking up people who cancelled or was ordered to change plans, while instead of explaining or apologizing he was just lying. The whole point of taking a car instead of a bus for simplicity and faster transfer was negated. The whole journey to Toba took 6,5 hours, 4 hours spent in Medan!

Short Trip

Very good Place to stay if you want to spend a leisure time in Medan. The staff are good, there is a small cafe downstairs. They also sell souvenir near the receptionist. You can order food and dine in in your room. Everything was good, but they only have room on second floor, and the water heater is not really functional. But overall, its Good place to stay.

Bagus banget natural gitu tempatnya bersih juga staf ramah kalau nginap medan pasti kesini lagi
