Family usual trip to Jogja

So basically me and my family always come to Jogja once a year and we always stay in this hotel. Well it's a cheap and average backpacker hotel with good enough facilities. There's air conditioner, but not so cold (still okay though). The bathroom is not so convenient, but there's hot water facility. The tv is okay, although it's kinda blurry. The breakfast is good enough, but they have small portion. The hotel itself is great, because it's so green and well arranged. They have improvements everytime we get back here. Well after all it's nice (the staff is also nice), and the fact that we always stay here is enough to prove it. :)

Not recommended for family

Bad decision to book this hotel and it ruins our holiday in Jogja.. Dirty, Water shortage, Not hygiene Room, poor Breakfast.
Lucky those good staff helping us.
Better find other place if you still have alternative.

Not for backpackers without independent transportation

Hello, we took an over night train into Yogyakarta and had booked Lido the day before. We wanted to have a hotel booked ahead of time because the train got in very late. Once we got off the train around 12:30 am we had to haggle with the cab drivers over price because they told us the address we were giving them was very far. They were right Lido is kinda out in the middle of nowhere. We ended up forfeiting a night stay and going into town the next day because the location was so bad. To get to town they said there were no taxis and we had to take multiple very local buses. It was kind of an adventure and made an interesting story but could have done without it.
Also the room was not great. The bathroom had a squatter toilet. The sink was a tiled box that barley drained and also was used to flush the toilet. There was no shower head and I think we were suppose to use the flushing bucket and sink for showering. The bed sheets had not been washed in a while and were full of hair that was not ours. There were a whole army of ants that were patrolling the floor looking for food.
They also did not have WIFI which they advertised on line.
If you are a backpacker without transportation I would not recommend this hotel.
