Perfect

Lovely little place off an alley off the Main Street, quiet and peaceful. We stayed in a bungalow with gorgeous traditional exterior.
Lovely breakfast and pool area. We had a laundry done here too, very convenient and cheap.
Lovely staff .

Disaster Cheat with money

What a disaster very bad people after we got here in Indonesia Bali Ubud. In this homestay 2 people manage this place husband and wife. Husband is the maid doesn't talk with guests. Wife is the cheater she takes booking online takes full payment for the rooms and refuse to give the rooms upon guests arrival in their homestay. Very rude bad cheaters seating in ubud.

Run down. Old mattress. Dirty.

Run down and dirty. Bed mattress was old and collapsed in the missle, had lumps under the bottom sheet, I couldn't look or my partner wouldn't have slept there. We were stranded. Coacroaches in the bathroom. Dirty Shower floors and tiles. Bungalow was not a bungalow. Mould on the walls. The place was old, tired, run down and dirty. Very disappointing.

No refund or voucher when I was forced to cancel due to Covid-19

I was looking forward to my holiday in Bali, staying at Ubud and Nusa Penida. When Covid-19 happened and I was unable to travel to Bali, I contacted the three places I was staying at and two of them were happy for me to cancel with a full refund. I gave them several months notice. Obviously I had no option but to cancel, it wasn't like I could still go to Bali from Australia. I booked through Booking.com. Swan Inn just said my booking was non refundable. They didn't even offer me a voucher to use at later date, as my airline has. Booking.com contacted them on my behalf to request a refund considering the circumstances, but were refused. Booking.com suggested I contact Swan Inn directly, which I did, but they never even bothered to reply to me. I will go to Bali as soon as I can, but I definitely will not be staying at Swan Inn.

Good central hotel

A bit hard to find tucked away in the back streets but a good hotel in a very central location. Balinese style rooms with fan but no air con. Nice pool and good breakfast, lovely staff. This is a good basic hotel, you get what you pay for. I would recommend to those on a budget
