Amazing place!

An amazing property, a beautiful traditional home with modern facilities and decoration, in a quiet area of Ubud. The hous is at only 5 minutes walk from the main street, on a narrow street, with traditional homes and temples. Inside the property there is a small swimming pool, very clean and with fresh water, perfect to enjoy after a day-trip in Ubud region (by the way, the guys from the hotel can help you with car/ driver for trips in Bali). Super breakfast! Nice view from the upper floor.
In conclusion, one of the best homes we ever had!!!
PS. there is a cock that can wake you up in the early morning if you have a sensitive sleep :)

The included breakfast seemed to disappear between the advert and the booking confirmation … so be careful of this.
The property’s signage says - Uma Ubud: Eat and Drink, but they wouldn’t even let us buy some breakfast as it was only part of the yoga classes.
The pool was good but our rooms were very basic/poor - broken fittings, linen stained, bottom sheet only with a light duvet/blanket and no cover. For the price we paid we were expecting more.
On the plus side .. not wanting to be at our accomodation made us do some cool activities in ubud.

Really Bad experience.

I booked the place for 3 weeks, before confirmation i went there, it was completely empty, and the pool was nasty. I asked if it would be cleaned they said yes, tomorrow it will be in perfect condition. The location is really nice and the place looks nice Before you start noticing the problems. For 3 weeks the pool was only cleaned once, the guest house gets cleaned once a week or when new guests are coming, the owner in never there, the wifi is bad 50% of the time.
It was expensive compared to the other places i stayed in ubud, and when i asked for the refund, the owner said i would only give you the rest of your money back if you check out today.
It was THE WORST place i stayed in Ubud.

Lovely guesthouse

We stayed in this charming guesthouse for four nights. It’s situated about 10 minutes walk from the main road and down a small alleyway, great location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. Breakfast tasted ok and there were lots of food and drink options to choose from. You pick a time you wish to have breakfast and it is delivered to the table outside your room which was really lovely. The bed was comfortable and shower lovely and hot water. The room wasn’t the cleanest as there were a few cobwebs on the ceilings and mould in the bathroom. Would recommend hiring a motorbike to get around the area and there was parking right next to the hotel for the bikes which was handy.
On the downside, there is a cockerel directly next door which was very noisy and definitely woke the whole neighbourhood up early every morning. Not the hotels fault. We also heard a lot of building work in the mornings so found it rather noisy.
Was a lovely place and would stay again!!

Information incorrect

We booked at Uma Loris Guest House after reading the reviews on Booking.com.
All what they said they offered was incorrect.
There is no parking what so ever for your car.
The property is situated down a small narrow and very dark laneway approximately 1.5km from the main road.
There is no 24 hour service desk. We arrived at 5pm, as soon as we were checked in the staff had checked out, not to be seen until 8am for breakfast.
The young lads were lovely but spoke little to no English.
We had 2 rooms booked here and so pleased it was only for one night. My sister ended up having breathing problems because of the chemicals used in her room, so bad she had to change rooms with us. The list goes on.
We booked here thinking it was going to be special.
An overall not so nice experience .
