Stunning golf ⛳️ course….hotel a tad bland …facilities good.

Loved the golf ⛳️. Food at hotel was good although restaurant ambiance lacking. Bedroom good. This is a big hotel that does a lot of functions. We enjoyed it overall.

Outstanding

We had a fabulous celebration for my dad’s 80th birthday. Beautiful rooms, upgraded suit , excellent service and delicious food. The whole experience was extremely enjoyable and relaxing in stunning surroundings.

Young at Heart stay

Another visit to this excellent hotel. Grounds are kept to an extremely high standard. Check in was fast and efficient. Great sized room and bathroom. Small fridge available with a water station in the hallway. We had breakfast in both of the restaurants during our stay. Both were good. Dinner which was part of our package was fine. A couple of minor issues were sorted promptly. Live music both nights in the bar. We used the Spa and pool. Pool was very busy with children so didn’t stay in too long. Overall a nice wee break

One of the very best hotels, well worth a visit.

We spent one night on a dinner B&B basis, the hotel was really full even for a Wednesday night. We arrived at the same time as a coach full of guests from Mullingar, however as we had checked in on line there was no waiting time and check in was faultless. Our deluxe twin room was great, two double beds with everything you need. The restaurant was packed but the staff managed admirably, food was delicious, the feather blade beef was mouth watering. Breakfast was outstanding, I had the kippers with poached eggs, again cooked to absolute perfection, a great start to any day. The leisure centre was really clean with good facilities, however, the same group of people had occupied the jacuzzi for the time that we were there, so we couldnt gain access. Apart from that one minor inconvenience, we would have no hesitation in recommending the Slieve Russell Hotel.

Happy Customers

Family of 5 Excellent 2 night B&B in a family suite. Spacious layout with separate sleeping area for kids, clean and comfortable. Great selection of fresh hot and cold Buffet breakfast with made to order pancakes! Pool well maintained and warm with convenient sauna and steam room. Lively welcoming bar area plenty of seating. Dinner at Summit Restaurant was good quality. The staff everywhere were professional and courteous. Online check in was a great time saver. Look forward to staying again.
