Amazing stay

We stayed at Cavangarden House in Ballyshannon for a friend’s 30th birthday, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The house itself is stunning beautifully kept, full of character, and spotlessly clean. Every room felt cosy and welcoming, with plenty of space for our group to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the weekend.
The grounds are gorgeous and give the place such a peaceful, private feel. We loved having so much room both inside and out, and it made the whole trip feel extra special.
The hosts were fantastic friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about the house and the experience of their guests.

Charming guest house

We have just spent a lovely night here. Ok so if you want bang up to date facilities book elsewhere, but if you are looking for a charming Irish house with delightful hosts, you won’t be disappointed! Lovely grounds, large room with a comfy bed, good breakfast. What’s not to love!?! Well situated for the Wild Atlantic Way.

Dated furnishings brightened by excellent breakfast and welcoming staff

We stayed here three nights and enjoyed our stay. This place is just getting on its feet after the death of the parents and the children picking up the reigns after an absence of three years. The sisters are determined to make a go of it and have a lot of good ideas for the future.
Breakfast was delicious- I have never had scrambled eggs cooked so well. On the final day we also got some excellent bread. The good breakfast was enhanced by the addition of good bread. I hope this becomes a feature of the meal going forward.

Little piece of heaven!

Cavangarden is a little piece of heaven! The house has a private, tree-lined driveway that runs a mile long through a beautiful forest with a river. The driveway opens up to a gorgeous working farm— there are rolling hills with cows roaming. The house is stunning and truly one-of-a-kind. Full of Irish history, tradition & magic! Donna & Joanne, the sisters that run it, have taken the business over from their parents and they are so lovely & helpful. My room was so beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Oh and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! You must stay here— I cannot recommend it enough and cannot wait to return.

Beautiful/idyllic bed and breakfast

Fantastic family run bed and breakfast on a beautiful farm. Close drive into ballyshannnon town and in a good location to get to other attractions in the area (eg slieve league).
The farm setting is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Absolutely recommend!!
