Great Hotel and great staff.

I hadn't been for a few years due to personal circumstances but I really enjoyed my stay. The owners are friendly and the food was very nice. The prices are reasonable for Ireland. I am looking forward to returning soon. The hotel is ideally located for visiting other areas around Mayo.

Very poor

Went for a Blt sandwich with my husband, the worse sandwich it was awful and chips weren't properly cooked. Very disappointed.

A day at the Dalton

We stayed in the Dalton in Claremorris, on the 18th/ 19th September. My husband and our 2 sons for a family funeral. We got 2 seperate rooms. We got a double room, the room was fine, over looked the main street, but not to noisy to keep us awake, the only problem was the en suite window didn't open, so the bathroom was full of condensation, so mould was starting. The staff were lovely, prices very reasonable, we ate dinner and breakfast there, portions very generous abd service was excellent. The decor is definitely dated buts it's clean and has a nice atmosphere.

Lovely Food

In the last few months we have stopped twice in the Dalton in for a meal. As a family of 2 adults and 2 children it has a great menu. The food is delicious and piping hot. The staff are very friendly and attentive, great overall service. Will definitely be back when passing through again

Andrew who works in this hotel is an absolute star..... He went above the call of duty to help my son who needed a room late on a Sunday night. Andrew even collected him from the train station..... His help was so appreciated
