Old world elegant property with all the Modern Conveniences

Absolutely lovely stay. It is now a favorite choice for us. The location is gifts. Several gorgeous nearby beaches. The gardens are exquisite and private. We had a lovely sea view room and it was so comfortable. The bed was excellent. The linens are top quality. The housekeeping is outstanding. The bathroom was really well done with a large shower stall and top notch fixtures. The towels were plush and the furnishings were gorgeous. The restaurants were excellent and the ability to eat meals with such incredible seaside views is phenomenal. The customer service is exemplary. We highly recommend this hotel. It’s a truly wonderful experience to stay in such a gorgeous historical house and hotel property! Clonakilty is a lovely seaside town.

Beautiful place near Clonakilty

This is a great family run small hotel on the coast outside Clonakilty.
The welcome and service are exactly what Ireland has to offer. We had dinner in the restaurant and this was simply excellent.
We will be back.

Five star Service and Food

Every time I go to Dunmore I feel spoiled, from the friendly staff, to the amazing food and hospitality, it's really hard to beat. The rooms have stunning sea views and you're close to so many of West Corks beautiful beaches and towns. The food is all local and we even had melons grown in the garden which were delicious. Thank you to Carol and her amazing team, we always feel restored.

Very relaxing stay in an excellent hotel.

I stayed at Dumore House Hotel in Clonakilty Ireland with my wife and Son and Daughter.
I have to say the Service was excellent and the food was more than excellent. The restaurant in the bar lounge was small but adequate and had to be booked. The main restaurant was five star and my son and daughter said it was one of the best they have eaten in. As normal the price was bit high but well worth it.
The hotel was clean and the rooms were cleaned everyday.
The only thing I should say was not expected was that there was no lift and we had to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs and for an 80 year old was a bit awkward. Had I known when we booked I would have ask for a ground floor room.
The scenery from our room overlooked the sea and was spectacular. There were secluded beaches with 10 minutes drive or one just 20 minute walk.
In all other than what I mentioned the hotel was excellent and We would definitely return for a very relaxing holiday.
