Never again! Beware female travellers!

Never again! Beware female travellers!
When I checked in, the male staff member who accompanied me to my bedroom was very flirtatious and repeatedly quizzed me about my age, whether or not I had a boyfriend, and why he hadn't accompanied me on my trip.
This behaviour was entirely inappropriate and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe as a lone overseas traveller. I spent the rest of my stay in a state of fear as this individual had access to room keys and also showed me my room spending a while in my bedroom.
Also the shower in my room did not work. So I could not have a shower for three days which was not at all ideal and definitely not a positive feature of my 'holiday' accommodation.
Finally, the room was also extremely noisy with noise from the common room next door until the early hours of Sunday morning, but given the above issues I consider this to be the least pressing issue of the three complaints.
I can't believe that the predatory individual who checked me in has access to vulnerable young students in the term time (Aparto is usually student accommodation), I would never consider leaving a teenager alone with the staff member I encountered.
Yes, the price (and location) is good for Dublin, but you will 'pay the price' in terms of having sub-par accommodation and not feeling safe, happy or relaxed during your stay.

Better to avoid.

Although aware of having chosen an inexpensive hotel with small spaces, due to the advantageous price for Dublin (135 for two nights) and the good location (15 minutes on foot from Temple Bar) we decided to try it.
I do not recommend it unless you are not picky and are aware of what you are getting into. It is a shame because with a few adjustments it could be a decent place.
I will summarize the negative points:
- dirty room with a lot of dust on the floor
- uncomfortable bed as it sank in
- no accessories (trash can, hair dryer, hangers in the closets)
- there were not even any towels, but fortunately by asking at the reception we found them
- bathroom fan that turns on automatically every time you open the bathroom, it stops by itself after at least 5-10 minutes.
- internal temperature of the building far too high
- in front of the hotel there is a park that is not at all reassuring, frequented by unsavory people
- in general, all the surrounding streets give an impression of being unsafe at night, and we encountered people who were clearly drunk or in an altered state.
The location is good; it could be a place without too many pretensions suitable for the public who cannot spend much, but it needs to be taken care of.
On the other hand, the provided kitchens are very large and well-equipped.

Terrible unprofessionalism

My stay at Binary Hub was very disappointing. The room and shared spaces were unbearably hot, and even after repeatedly reporting the issue, nothing changed and I wasn’t offered a proper alternative.
Before leaving, staff told me I would receive a refund for the unused nights. A security guard helped contact management, and based on that promise, I checked out and booked new accommodation. After leaving, I was told the refund wouldn’t be issued, which felt like a complete reversal of what I had been assured.
The accommodation itself was uncomfortable, but the bigger problem was how the situation was handled. Clear communication and honouring commitments would go a long way in improving guest trust and satisfaction.

Hard to find any positives

Unfortunately, i have a hard time coming up with positives for this hotel. The guy who helped us check in(Andrej i think?) was really nice. And it's close to the city centre! But then there's everything else
Negatives:
- The room is bare & worn down. There's one bed, one desk, one plastic chair & wardrobes. No Tv, no extra cushions, no place to eat. Not even a waste basket in the entire room or bathroom.
- The bathroom is really dirty. There were specs of dirt on the toilet lid, the shower floor was dusty, the sink was not clean. The shower did not work properly, the temperature was fluctuating
- The bathroom had an automatic light along with a really loud fan, which would keep going long after you left the bathroom. This could not be turned off.
- no AC, fan or other way to cool down. This, combined with the uncomfortable bed made sleep almost impossible
- There was one light in the entire room, a super bright one that made you either half blind or you had to walk around in the dark
- The area is super sketchy. Other reports talk about attacks. The park nearby is filled with crackheads who eye you as you walk by.
- You can hear everything through the walls. We had to listen to a group constantly slamming doors & talking throughout the nights.
- No information about wifi, cleaning, the area, the facilities when arriving.
- dont even try the vending machines. They dont work. At all.
The worst part happened when 4 men just randomly walked in to our room, which was locked. Their tag worked. Fortunately they were good people who apologized and left but it felt really unsafe that anyone could enter. When we told the staff, they kept repeating: Technically it's not possible and advised us to bar the door with a chair, a chair thas has wheels on it.
