Little gem,

We had a lovely stay at the property,
Beautiful views,
Lovely apartment, spotless clean and had everything we needed for our short stay and there is a children's play centre on site Ashbourne town and emerald park close by.
Definitely will ve back.

Nice location with beautiful surroundings. Have a automat with drinks and snacks all day on the premisses, but no stores or close busstops. Recommend having own or rental car to stay here. Otherwise its not too expensive to taxi to ashbourne and bus from there.

Do not stay here unless they renovate!

We stayed in apartment 3 for three nights and were very disappointed with the apartment, which was not cheap. When we arrived, the toilet had been used, the floors were not completely cleaned, the light over the bathroom sink did not work, there was only one rubbish bin (dirty) with no lid, no recycling possibilities, which had been described, there were very few kitchen utensils (no paring or carving knife, no salad bowl), the dish rack was dirty, there were no towel racks, no night tables, no reading lights, the mattress was old and sagged in the middle and to top it all off a deafening fire alarm went off for no reason inside the apartment at midnight one night when we were sleeping. What happened and who turned it off after 15 minutes we never learned. The whole complex is run down and we only saw a person in the reception area once in 3 days. It’s out in the middle of nowhere but with no bucolic charm.

Beware

We had 2 apartments booked for 2 families & upon arrival they appeared to be ok. Very basic but ok, however upon our return at 7pm there were a lot of men out drinking outside the apartments, with no tops on. One was driving up and down on a motorcycle with no helmet on. We were families with small kids so needless to say we were very intimidated and felt very unsafe. Unfortunately we had to disappoint the kids and get back in the cars and drive another 1.5 hours to another hotel. I called the owners of the apartments and whilst the 1st lady was very nice (advised the were housing men working in the area ‍♀️) another man called me back and was very rude and defensive of these men’s unsociable behaviour. I told him we didn’t feel safe and couldn’t stay. Very disappointing after the money they charged us. How these apartments are even operating under such an environment I am stunned. Please proceed to book with caution ⚠️
