The Sem Apartment was really well stocked. The area is perfect, just a short walk to the famous Reykjavik church. We enjoyed our one night stay despite the stinky water, although we learned this is typical in Icelandic homes along our travels.

Wonderful family stay
Our family of 4 stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. Great location, quiet area. The apartment was spacious and well equipped - would be a great place to settle for a longer amount of time. We enjoyed the free laundry access. We parked at Hallgrimskirkja lot for free after dropping off our bags. There was plenty of paid street parking spots right at Sem Apartments but we opted to save our money. The only negative was lugging our suitcases up to the apartment as there is no elevator, but it was definitely worth the stay!

The stay was only for one night, but my absolute favorite part was the bedding and pillows - comfortable and warm! We also were able to make dinner for the night because of all the cooking utensils and pans offered - loved it!

Great location but a very tight place for a family of four. I would recommend this was for a single person traveling or a couple.

Wonderful space for myself and 4 friends to spend a few days in Reykyavik. Convient and close to everything. The lovely apartment came supplied with everything we needed and then some. Host were wonderful communciators and quick to answer all our questions.
