Clean, Cozy, Quality

I stayed with the Devonian for three nights and it was extremely pleasant! The hosts are both friendly, kind and very welcoming. My room was cozy, cute and clean— perfect for a solo traveler and not too expensive either. The breakfast was delicious and prepared homemade, and the menu had ample options. The location was great, only about a 15 minute walk from the ferry port. Overall I would highly recommend staying here, I had a lovely time.

Very Cute. Lovely Ownership

I must say, the owners are lovely people. 1 little hiccup upon check-in as the door was locked, and I hadn't received an access code due to an email mix up, though the description did say it was open until 18:30, and it was 15:00. My phone wasn't working for calls so I had to borrow two pedestrians phones to call the hotel. The room, though cute, was freezing throughout the night even with the radiator on full heat due to poor insulation on the window so I honestly slept very poorly. The room, however, was very cute as was the ensuite. Towels were clean and a little kettle with ample tea and coffee was provided which I always appreciate. The TV brightness was very dark and I couldn't work out how to alter it though. The breakfast was fabulous, as was the décor and overall it's a very nice place. The staff are definitely gems.

What a delightful stay, everybody was so friendly and went well out of their way to help me. Very highly recommended.

Home from home atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff, the bed was spacious and the bay window room was light and airy with big windows to open.
The breakfasts are amazing and the staff are so friendly.
The only thing I would say is a shower door would be better than a curtain as water splashes everywhere.
Definitely would be back!

The hotel room was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. The TV in the room was very small so I used my tablet instead. The staff work hard and always provided clean towels, coffee, tea and milk etc when needed or requested. There are no lifts so we had to walk up stairs to our room. That might not be ideal for everyone. The hotel is located in Douglas town centre and is not far from the sea terminal. It is also only a short walk to the local shops. There is a slight upward hill to the hotel but it's not too far. Overall, I found the hotel to be comfortable and adequate. It's not fancy but quite suitable for a nice stay.
