Fabulous return visit

Came back here for another fabulous stay but for a whole week this time. Nothing has changed, the quality of the amenities and food still perfect and an beautiful refreshing pool to cool off in. Staff were all amazing and friendly. Location is perfect right on Muri lagoon. If you are looking for a private adults only luxuriously appointed accommodation, then look no further as this place is the best.

Living the dream

Can not speak highly enough of this villa. What a beautiful location, the villas were gorgeous with everything you need like laundry in the villa, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom lovely decor etc friendly staff, clean and a few step to the stunning Muri lagoon where I even saw a turtle! We will be back!

Great location. Overpriced.

Beautiful location, private and safe. Rooms are spacious and decorated lovely however cleanliness is questioned. Bathroom cabinets and kitchen cabinet faces could use a good wipe down. There was sticky residue on the floor in the primary suite next to the bed upon arrival. Dried blood next to fridge on wall. Breakfast very average with recycled cereal with grubby fingerprints on containers and stale pastries. Some variety would have been nice. No welcome drink as advertised upon arrival. The Sails restaurant next door was awful and the lagoon cruise company next door blasts music each night which ruined the luxe ambience a little. Saturday morning we awoke at 7.45 am to them demolishing the patio deck and got to enjoy the sounds of them banging and sawing next to the pool half the day. The grounds are lush and well kept and the staff are helpul and friendly. The little convenience store at the end of drive had a great selection of wines and goods.

Beautiful but loud.

The place is beautiful and all, but sadly Tamas lagoon cruise is located straight next to it and always plays very loud music. It usually starts before 7 am stops around midday and then starts again at the evening. The annoying thing is simply the bass that goes through every wall, especially if you are in Villa 4.

5 Star Paradise

Dream family stay at Te Vakaroa Villas with our two young adults. Our upstairs 2 bedroom villa had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Private, secure, luxurious, serene. Occasional ukulele playing/singing/drumming from Captain Tamas crew next door was not at all intrusive and only added to the island vibe. Pool and surrounds and the tropical garden were next level. Staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. Golf umbrellas also provided so no need to bring your own! So close to convenience store, restaurants and activities. Could not fault our stay...dreaming of returning.
