Terrible customer service
I stayed at the Cassia Hotel in Jerusalem for a family celebration. The slow and unfriendly service was disappointing, but I was there to celebrate with my family, so I chose not to let it ruin the occasion.
What happened after checkout, however, is completely unacceptable.
I accidentally left two dresses hanging in the closet in my room. As soon as I realized, I called the hotel. I was told they would check and that I should call back. When I did, I was told there was nothing there.
I then had a friend call the hotel and go there in person to check, and I was still told that the dresses could not be found.
Two dresses were left hanging in the closet. They didn't simply vanish. Given the circumstances and the hotel's inability—or unwillingness—to account for them, I am extremely concerned about what happened to my belongings after I checked out.
The complete lack of accountability and customer service is infuriating. I expected a hotel to take responsibility for belongings left behind and make a genuine effort to locate them. Instead, I was essentially dismissed.
I would strongly advise guests to double-check every drawer, closet, and corner of their room before leaving this hotel—and not assume that anything left behind will be returned.
A family celebration should have left me with wonderful memories of Jerusalem. Instead, this hotel left me feeling angry, disappointed, and deeply mistrustful.

Cassia bent over backwards to ensure I was happy during and after my stay.

This hotel is a prime location. Any imperfections I experienced were resolved with open ears, good grace and exceptional commitment to ensuring my overall experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Disappointment, we don't go back.
So basic service of a bottle of water in the room, what have we asked for?
The hotel counts itself as 5 stars.
I wonder where he's hiding them?
Parking was frustrating too.
When we arrived, we were told that the cost of parking for our stay at the hotel is NOK 85 per car.
When we arrived at the exit, we were surprised to find that the charge is NIS 170 per car (double 3 cars).
We went to the reception and they told us that they "meant" $85 for 24 hours...
How can you stay on Saturday for 24 hours when you arrive shortly before Saturday and leave shortly after Saturday?
It takes at least 26 to 7 hours.
Couldn't you tell me in advance?
The conduct was embarrassing and we did not receive enough assistance from the hotel staff. In the end, we expected simple, kind and efficient handling of basic issues, and that did not happen.
