Great experience
We came back to the Dan tell Aviv Hotel after several years and were very surprised by the very nice renewed rooms and the great hospitality especially by the guest services team

A four star hotel that advertises itself as 5 star.
A four star hotel that advertises itself as 5 star.
I am writing this review while still a guest something I have never done but am so disappointed with this hotel.
As a frequent traveler all over the world staying in 5 and also 4 star hotels- I can honestly say never have I experienced worse service especially in a hotel claiming to be 5 star.
From the reception to the swimming pool to the bar to the dining room every staff member either did not even acknowledge you or does so in a manner which is as though they are doing you a huge favour.
At reception I was completely ignored and if I had not asked for help would probably still not have checked in. I did join the edan club and to be honest I am stil trying to understand what that gives you.
Again at the lobby bar you stand and hope that someone will acknowledge you.
At Breakfast no good morning nothing. But every minute without fail the plates were removed, not even asking are you finished until eventually I told them to stay away from my table until I leave.
The sad thing is I know certain nationalities do service better than others and Israel is not known for service and if I do mention this to the manager I doubt he actually cares.
Food- breakfast decent Israeli breakfast- an egg station is a requirement but I settled for cold rubbery scrambled eggs.
Swimming pool area ok/ the pool itself small and wrapped around the hotel. Always enjoyable to sit at the pool with people smoking and playing their own loud music. The lifeguard didn’t care either way. Also most hotels at the pool you can at least order a drink- nothing here except a water machine.
The gym tiny with not many weight options.
I tried the sauna but gave up as I was told it’s only really hot at night.
The room - dated to say the least.
Verdict - do not stay here. If you are desperate to stay in a Dan hotel stay at the panarama and save some money. It cannot be worse.

Pleasure
The experience was amazing, the staff always with a smile and with a desire to help the scenery the atmosphere was all amazing! Recommend to improve the freshness of food in the dining room and increase the selection if possible as the experience is of a high level but untouched last in the dining room.

Vacation at the Dan Hotel - only good things
The reception, dining room, room service, etc. we had a lot of fun. Great location, excellent breakfast, quality pool. I stayed there with my father and after realizing he was having a birthday we were upgraded to a room with sea views and a pinko in a bottle of wine and candy.

Needs a facelift. For example, one of the showers had no hook to hang the shower head. The drain in the other was slow. One of the elevators didn't work throughout our three day stay.
