Terrible and very expensive hotel, to be avoided

Terrible hotel. Apart from the strategic location right on the beach and a stone's throw from the center of Acciaroli, this hotel offers nothing. Dated, neglected, and dirty rooms. The bathrooms are unlivable and the rest of the furniture is falling apart. The rest of the property is also dilapidated and abandoned to itself. The restaurant terrace is well-kept and has a beautiful view of the sea, but you die of heat. It would not be difficult to set up ceiling fans or similar. The food is repetitive and often terrible, only breakfast is acceptable. Well-maintained beach but the beach bar is in terrible condition with horrible service, from guys who act like they are doing you a favor when you order something. The rest of the staff (restaurant, reception, and housekeeping) are very kind and helpful.
For 3 of us, we paid more than 500 euros per night for full board which excludes all drinks, even water. For a price like that, I have been to places 100 times more beautiful, newer, and better organized. I will never set foot there again and I advise against it to anyone.

Probably the policy of this hotel is "who will ever see them again"
TV in the room did not work, air conditioning so old that it did not have the dehumidifier function, shall we talk about the restaurant? Dinner for 12, the waiter takes the order and then goes to see if all the courses are available, they have a first and second course menu for 45€, we ate a la carte one course each and an appetizer (prosciutto and mozzarella was the only appetizer available) cold frozen mozzarella and fiordilatte. 3 first courses and 6 second courses.
6 prosciutto and mozzarella (frozen) 108€ !!!
Look at the bill !!
At the end of the day, the moral is that there is no relationship between the service and the bill.
P.s. they don't bring you the menu but a sheet with the dishes WITHOUT THE PRICES !!

A lovely week, warmly welcomed even from a distance.

A very appreciable and effective family management. Comfortable rooms for a beach vacation, and more. Beautiful beach managed by Carmine, an exquisite and always very attentive person. The food is the result of excellent culinary craftsmanship, light but tasty. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is excellent and very well maintained.

On the beach

We stayed here for one night as part of a cycling holiday. Hotel is mainly occupied by middle aged people (like us!), so it’s quiet.
Positives-
Location on the beachfront, short walk to centre of town
Bathrooms are recently renovated and are very modern
View from the balcony over the Mediterranean
Breakfast was fairly limited choice - normally I wouldn’t make a comment about this but for the price you pay I think what is on offer is not quite good enough.
The only other thing I’d point out is that not much English is spoken here. It’s not really a negative but if something goes wrong and you need assistance it can be difficult.
Overall it’s a nice hotel with lots going for it, but it’s expensive!
