Aosta perfect location x the center

I needed accommodation x 2 days x mè and children , as much as possible in the center, on the advice of my son , I chose this hotel " Right near the University and really convenient " All true , very close , very convenient , spotless , treated really with courtesy , I really enjoyed it (I also recommend the restaurant)

Arrogant owners, rude and even above all cunning to say the least but not too much... We found better in every way. Avoid it.

Be careful not to sleep outside..!!!

We will not comment on the hotel structure may we never go, but the booking and email exchange. And as such, we can only give a negative opinion.
We booked directly on the official website of the hotel one night during the large market of St Ours.
We received confirmation by two emails of our reservation.
We have therefore confirmed immediately the planned transport by coach with the agency.
But surprised, we then received an email from the hotel informing us of the cancellation of our reservation on the grounds that "we do not fit into their criteria which requires at least 2 nights".
This criterion did not appear anywhere and certainly not in the booking confirmations received.
We have sent multiple e-mails for unanswered explanations.
And finally we received just the answer already given "you do not fit into our criteria which requires at least 2 nights"
Nothing, not a word of explanation on this reservation confirmed and then cancelled. Not even the slightest excuse...!
We found more compassion and kindness with the agency who agreed to cancel our transport free of charge, especially since it is no longer possible to find a room in Aosta city, everything is now sold out.
So for us there will be no outings, walks and weekend with a couple at the craft market of Aosta.
So be careful when you book , you might end up outside if only for one night.
I would add that I once again gave the hotel the opportunity to explain before publishing this review and again I never received a response.

little recommended

What can I say! Narrow room, bathroom as well. Then, what about! On the bright side? Comfortable bed and pillows. The rooms were not isolated from the noise, they heard all the speeches of the people adjacent to ours. Strategic location. Parking to be reviewed, because a fee in the square. Hair in the bed.

IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE

What can I say, a place to go if you are passing through Aosta on the days of mid-August and you have no alternative. Already on the phone they were courteous : I wanted to stop the single room giving as a guarantee the credit card details but as I would arrive after an hour and a half they told me to take it on booking where it cost more and where between the phone call and my booking it increased by another 10 euros. No elevator and you have to carry on all luggage. Crazy heat in the room and the Czech bath practically a sauna. Breakfast absent. Cost for all this 95 euros!
