Lovely place

My husband and I stayed at Giulia's inn in August.
A special place, ideal for relaxing away from the chaos.
Our room, cozy and spotless, was practically a mini apartment, equipped with kitchenette, fridge and coffee maker (with pods and herbal teas)
We very much enjoyed the well maintained garden and pool
Great breakfast and quality, but the highlight is definitely the restaurant where you eat divinely
The owners, Silvia and Roberto are very nice and put you at ease
Definitely will be back because I would have gladly done a few more days

Breathtaking Views, Friendly, Delicious

I had my wedding here this summer, and it was beautiful, better than I could have dreamed! The views from here are more stunning than any pictures can show, you can see the duomo of Arezzo in the near distance, and the evening of our wedding had a spectacular sunset. All meals were to die for, the lovely Tuscan antipasti, truffle risotto, steaks, and of course the after dinner liqueurs. Roberto and his family have done an amazing job refurbishing La Locanda (it was a farm) to be the new B&B it is today - gorgeous chestnut wood, very comfortable, elegantly rustic rooms, and flowers everywhere you look. Roberto does not speak English which made for some amusing conversations, but this should not deter you! La Locanda was the perfect place for our small wedding of 15 guests - we had the place to ourselves for the duration of our stay, including the ceremony and reception. Our wedding favors were even their own delicious home-made olive oil! If you are traveling during the summer, the lounging pool and air-conditioning are a plus. We can't wait to come back!

Liked it so much we stayed an extra day

Very cute little hotel. Completely remodeled with kitchenette including mini fridge, stove top, and eating and cooking dishes; there is a grocery store close by if you want to pick up drinks and snacks. Very nice view down the hills and there are nice patios outside. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and even though they don't speak English and I don't speak Italian, we got along fine and were able to work out staying an extra night. Free parking, quiet night, only complaint is the slow internet. Would stay here again!

Pessimo

Scortesia, poca pulizia, camere sporche con insetti morti dappertutto. Zanzariere inesistenti ( fondamentali in campagna ma forse costavano troppo). Abbiamo telefonato per prenotare e solo successivamente abbiamo scoperto che la signora ci aveva fatto un prezzo più alto addirittura di booking approfittando che all ultimo momento per noi era difficile trovare altro. Approfittatori fino all ultimo..poca dare ma molto volere! Cibo scadente mai più!

Sono dovuta scappare dopo nemmeno un giorno

Premetto che siamo arrivati e in casa non c'era nemmeno l essenziale ( praticamente avrei dovuto portarmi tutto da casa) posate contate, nemmeno un mestolo, non un insalatiera, nemmeno un secchio per la spazzatura! Due piatti contati e un cucchiaio praticamente! La pulizia... Lasciava molto a desiderare, in tempi di covid mi sarei aspettata molto di più, polvere sui comodini e sotto al letto. Ma mi sarei adattata anche a questo, finché non abbiamo scoperto, poche ore dopo del nostro arrivo, che c era un nido di vespe proprio sopra la porta di entrata, dove poi vi era proprio la cucina, quindi non potevamo aprire la porta che venivamo assaliti da questi insetti. Io con un bimbo piccolo, allergico a varie cose, mi sono subito preoccupata, epoi non potevo stare chiusa in casa anche per cucinare! Sono andata subito dal proprietario il quale mi ha detto di chiudere porte e finestre. Questa non poteva di certo essere una soluzione, me ne sarei rimasta a casa mia! La seconda soluzione proposta era sparare il veleno....ma con un. Bimbo piccolo allergico che gioca fuori per terra con le macchinine non mi svembrava la giusta soluzione... Ho chiesto di spostarci ma non è stato possibile, così, dopo essere stati presi a malo modo, abbiamo dovuto prendere bagagli spesa appena fatta, e andare via. Mi è stato risposto con arroganza e aggressività che la colpa delle vespe non era loro e che non potevamo stare a controllare tutto! Ma quando si da un appartamento bisogna garantire la sicurezza e la pulizia! A me sono state rovinate le vacanze, sono andata via piangendo con il mio bimbo disperato e nessuno mi ha risarcito il. Danno! Anzi sono stata anche aggredita! Nemmeno delle scuse, nulla! Mi sono ritrovata a dover scappare con la spesa appena fatta, che poi la. Maggior parte ho dovuto buttare, il.
