Pleasant and perfect location

We stayed 4 nights here in Bari. The hotel was recently renovated. Ample room for 3 people, fridge bar (water free), kettle (water and coffee), bed linen and clean towels. Very good shower, there is a hairdryer and toiletries. . Excellent location, we did everything on foot, in front of the central train station, next to the main avenue (Via Sparano). Excellent breakfast (variety of bread, cakes, juices, fruits). There is a very nice hotel roof top, ideal for a drink in the late afternoon/night. There is parking ($30 euros/day). Important: The hotel is outside the ZLT, but very close to it - great for those who come by car. Various restaurants and small markets nearby.

Excellent Hotel

Ignor the name as that was the name of the old hotel, il leon d oro by farce is the new name and it has been referbed and opened in Dec 25, loved this place and wished we had stayed more than 3 nights, staff really friendly and a special shout out to Giovani and Ghiv at the rooftop bar, they gave us many recommendations for places to visit in Puglia for the rest of our trip. Honestly if you see poor reviews then I would be surprised and people said bad things about the breakfast but it was perfect, good selection of hot and cold food, love the place and will be back

Great location with amazing bar!

The hotel has an excellent bar on the roff top with a beautiful view. Bar chef Giovanni Guglielme is a crack. Order a Limoncello Spritz or ask Giovanni to prepare something special. I work in the beverage sector I can say that he is crack!!!

Brilliant hotel. Great location for travellers being so close to the train station! A 10 minute walk to the more picturesque areas of the city.
