My partner and I are completely enchanted by both the place and the warm welcome from the staff!
Returning feels like coming home every time, with the originality that only contact with nature can provide, and there is no limit to our gratitude for that.

I’ll be back to stay here at Refugio Ariel

I never ended up staying at the Refugio Ariel because my plans changed at the last moment but I went into this Rifugio after four days on the Alta Montana Trail of the volcano Etna and the staff there and the owner were very very nice to me. They were agreeing to let leave my backpack after I stay and return after some weeks. I really recommend this Rifugio because I felt there was some real hospitality.
I will definitely go back and stay !

Walking tour of Etna

Do you want to enjoy Etna..... in the mountains?
Try circling it to admire it in all its beauty before trying to see if it allows you to enjoy from its summit craters a panorama that you will not forget..... and don't miss a night at the beautiful Rifugio Ariel! Peace, tranquility, good food.... warmth.... in every sense.... but above all kindness, availability and sympathy! A huge thanks to Carmelo, Giancarlo and Grazia

A family retreat

At the Ariel refuge you feel at home, you are immediately welcomed by a wonderful family feeling. Great food, enviable view. You can take long walks and enjoy the peace of the forest and the mountains. Would highly recommend

Beautiful experience on Etna for New Year's Eve I recommend it to everyone

Beautiful place, we spent the New Year in a magical atmosphere. It was snowing then we had after midnight a beautiful walk in the woods very very very nice. The rooms are clean. The heating is always high so for those who feel cold there is no problem. One tip I can give to the manager is just to update the furniture a little bit especially to the chairs.
