The best within a 40 km radius of Dobbiaco

Already frequented in past years, today it appears further improved. A delicious, albeit limited, menu; refined and elegant dishes. Efficient and discreet service. Very pleasant and relaxing environment. The chanterelle mushroom risotto is excellent, the mixed summer salad is extraordinary, as are the beet and beef tartares; the sorbets are delicious and beautifully presented. To be recommended without hesitation. Prices are not excessive; I would say they are fair and appropriate.

Excellent

The Oberraut restaurant offers typical, flavorful cuisine, dishes that highlight the traditions of the local culture and raw ingredients, with all the nuances of a land to be discovered. Unique flavors and sophisticated pairings, excellent service. Fair price-quality ratio.

Careful plating, reception to improve

Good food with dishes especially in the plating. Only note on the service: I made a simple request for food needs, asking for a side dish of potatoes instead of bread.
The request was met with repeated irony, which I found unprofessional and out of place.
A more respectful attitude would certainly make a difference.

Always excellent

I used to come to this lovely place as a girl with my family; now, after so many years and good memories crystallized over time, I renew an excellent experience with my husband. The restaurant has remained welcoming and with the traditional elegance that has always distinguished it, without indulging in fashionable slips that too often ruin the soul of places that have an egregious history behind them. The service is always the same: courteous, punctual and discreet, perfect in manner and timing. The cuisine is by far the best in the area, with a skilful use of their herbs and vegetables, and with cheeses and cold cuts that do not betray the old flavors of the past. The menu is always appealing, with some courses available for those who do not eat meat or want to stay lighter than the hearty South Tyrolean cuisine. We got up from the table satisfied, after eating well and drinking well (an excellent rosé from the area). Thank you for your welcome, we will see you again on our next trip to your beautiful lands.

A treat to all your senses!

Whenever in South Tirol we come back to Oberraut. Continuity in quality and service. Amazing atmosphere and delicious food! From home made bread, meet dishes, South Tirolean wine to a perfect dessert. Service impeccable. We‘ve been four times already and enjoyed it equally as much each time!
