We stayed 2 nights before our cruise.
It is a very clean, spacious and welcoming place to stay.
And walking distance to the free shuttle bus that takes you to your cruise ship.
Loads of very nice restaurants close to the 7 bells,
We would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Civitavecchai today here,

We arrived earlier than expected but did not mind waiting for our room to be ready.
Room was clean with plenty of towels .
We went out to explore the area. However we realised at bedtime there was only one curtain on a window that needed two. We were frequently awoken during the night by a security light going on outside every time someone walked near it. Can’t get instant help as no one is on reception in the evening and requires a call. We just wanted to sleep so made the best of the situation.
In the morning the toilet started leaking water out of the side of a screw flooding into the bedroom at quite a pace. Spoke to reception who allowed us to use another vacant room. Very thankful for that.
Seems from the warped flooring that this has happened before. Was just glad we noticed before our luggage was soaked.
Breakfast. Our booking offered free breakfast but were told at reception that it was €10 each. We passed on the charge and waited for lunch.
We paid for their mini bus transfer to the port which was good. Local taxis cannot go directly to the cruise ship.
Would I stay here again. No - it was perfectly ok if the problems hadn’t been there. However , we would probably try somewhere else.

Staff friendly and helpful. Nice terrace with a view for the common area.
If a little critic/feedback; it would have been helpful to know inside which floor to get to, as we got into the hall of the building where there was a lot of floors, but not stated which one the guesthouse was on. But that is only a small thing.
