A magical stay and an impeccable welcome
My partner and I spent a wonderful weekend (July 25-26) in this splendid castle. From the very first contact, the organization was perfect: the Receptionist Manager Giulia provided us via email with very clear and transparent information on prices, confirming everything with extreme care the day before our arrival. Welcomed magnificently, we were immediately directed to the pool, where we spent a beautiful afternoon enjoying an aperitif at the refreshment point.
The room was very well maintained and equipped with everything necessary, including slippers and two providential complimentary bottles of water. The breakfast was varied (both European and American) and for the unforgettable evening spent dancing in the large empty ballroom, under an illuminated vault that imitated the starry sky.
Finally, a round of applause for the museum visit: an hour-long tour accompanied by Chiara, a very well-prepared guide who was available to answer all our questions with great professionalism. The last section dedicated to Freemasonry, which can be visited independently, was also very interesting. We thank Giulia, Chiara, and Davide from the bottom of our hearts (who supported us with great cordiality): it is clear that they love their work and truly care about customer service. Highly recommended!

Great stay in castle
We stayed last weekend in the Pamphili suite on two floors, very spacious and elegant... We made use of the swimming pool with deck chairs and the assigned umbrella. In the morning a great breakfast! Everything perfect handled by the staff impeccably.

Weekend at the castle
Majestic and well preserved castle.
From the patrol walkways, freely accessible, you can admire the valley.
Clean, comfortable and renovated rooms. Unfortunately I had the feeling of staying in a normal hotel room and not in a historic home.
Well maintained swimming pool and park.
Breakfast lacking for the savory part , on the buffet there were no pliers with which to serve and even extra dishes.
Still pleasant stay.

For people who prefer the beauty of small and quiet towns.
Perfect stay if you are avoiding the noise of a busy, tourist pack town. Compiano is a lovely medieval town perched on top of a hill offering great vistas of the area. The hotel is in a castle which has been well renovated and offers clean accommodations with very friendly staff. We stayed a couple of days and enjoyed the town as well as used it as a stop to visit Portofino and Parma and back at the end of each day to the quiet charming Compiano.

A BEAUTIFUL CASTLE
The castle is very beautiful as its history is very interesting, the rooms are decidedly rich in lived life and the accommodations in the rooms must take into account the architecture of the time.....and therefore the bathrooms created are narrow and not very comfortable.
The breakfast is a bit poor on the savory side. Helpful and kind staff.
