One of the best restaurants in the Modenese Apennines.

I have become a regular customer because of the journey. Welcoming environment, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. I recommend the rustic appetizer, consisting of fried polenta, fried dumplings with cheese, and then a main course, the drunken venison with polenta and currants, simply fabulous.

We returned yesterday after 8 days spent at this hotel that we chose from among many. We found ourselves immersed in a warm, family atmosphere among very welcoming people who were available for any problem.....the food is very good according to my travel companions. I cannot judge due to health problems that prevented me from enjoying many specialties....thanks to the three wonderful sisters and their splendid mother who is an excellent cook and to the father who takes care of the bar and the wine selection...... what can I say, I recommend it to all those who want to spend a few days in tranquility and in a pleasant environment.

A nice discovery

We stayed for a weekend. Very cute hotel. Clean room and rich breakfast. Highly recommended.

What a nice lunch

Discovered by accident, returning from
Cimoncino, was the first positive surprise of 2026 compared to the locals in the area
Manager very kind and immediately available to find a solution for our group
Well maintained premises and kidnapped service
Excellent all dishes, from appetizers to tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms to polenta with wild boar and / or venison and to finish with desserts

Pleasant stay

Family-run hotel in Canevare, a hamlet of Fanano.
We stayed one night in this clean and well-kept guesthouse and we really enjoyed the excellent breakfast based on local products. Dinner is also good, the hotel offers half board but only from two nights, so we could not take advantage of the rate.
