Location was superb.
Cleaniness was ok. Somekind of ant infestasion was going on in our bathroom and somehow on the top floor where the breakfast is served.
Views on the breakfast are super! You can see the duomo while waiting coffee from the machine!

Only book if you are desperate
The room I stayed in was terrible, and small. I asked reception if they had another room I can move to but they said no. Their attitude was appalling and unhelpful. I had to drag one of the reception staff to have a look at my room. When we went up he couldn’t open the door so had to bring a master key. He then tried to figure out how to open the balcony shutters but I wish he hadn’t as the view was shocking! The safe was broken and he had to call a maintenance to repair the door and safe. Then I was surprisingly offered another room that appeared to be available but was in the same state as my room. The lady at reception was so rude when I complained to her that she told me to move aside to serve someone else and then ignored me after. She kept telling me there was no other room but I was told by another reception staff member that there was a room.
There was one small bar of soap, one hand towel and a body towel- though becareful how long you take showering as the hot water runs out.
Breakfast was not even close to continental…. It wasn’t even a breakfast and was absolutely unhygienic.

Stay in Florence - Italy
We do not agree with the 4-star rating provided.
Very small room, very small bathroom, little space for clothes, cleaning was average.
At the front desk only two employees spoke Italian and the rest of the staff spoke poor English.
Breakfast included, scarce options and low quality. Neither of the two employees spoke Italian, English, or Spanish.

Not 4 stars by a long shot
Other than that we could not find the supposed 4 stars anywhere!!! Oh except on the price
The rooms had no furniture except a the beds, the shower was a disaster (leaked all over) there were roaches in the stairs, the WiFi signal was terrible (non existent, most of the time) TV had only shopping channel, the elevator broke half the time for our floor, only 2 uncomfortable pillows per bed, 2 hangers (although the above mentioned lady provided more after requesting) zero decoration rooms feel like a shoe box, noisy, overall dirty and don’t even get me started on the AC which did not work appropriately.
