A hotel that lives up to its name!

I had a delightful experience in this hotel. It is both modern and traditional, with a fine continental breakfast in the morning, and a place to eat on the communal patio. I really liked their lobby, which was modern, chic, and had a small, intimate yet fully-stocked bar. Best of all, I was very fortunate to get the room right above the center window on the front, with a beautiful view of the Piazza dell'Indipendenza, and there was even a Caravaggio framed print above the bed!
Conveniently walkable to the main centres of town and a quiet neighborhood to get some shuteye at night.

Very well located, walking distance from the main places to visit and the tram station that goes to the airport. The bathroom is very small and the shower has little water pressure, so if you are tall or big, you will struggle, it also needs some maintenance (signs of age and deterioration), but the room was comfortable, clean and with a good AC unit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was there for a total of 3 days with my teenager kids and wife so clearly family oriented.

Hotel Caravaggio

The hotel is in a good location with easy access to key locations. Simple to navigate to and from which makes travelling more beneficial. The room looks small but is actually spacious enough with pretty much everything you need so I can’t fault it.
However the main problem I experienced was all the outside noise during the night. From people, the street cleaners and vehicles driving up and down the road the noise was so clear that it kept disrupting me for my entire stay. Also, I’m a bit disappointed in certain reception staff as I was not informed about the rule of leaving the key until my third day as I was not told during checking in.

Very good location for exploring the beautiful city of Florence. We had no issues with accessing the hotel outside of hours and staff were great. Would definitely return.
