A great stay

We had an absoultely fantastic time, we only stayed for one night but Chris at reception could not have been more helpful, he recommended a restaurant we dined at and it too was fantastic. He also kept our luggage safe after check out so we could explore the city. We would definitely stay again. Grazie Chris. Cam & Mila

This place will be my next accommodation in Florence!

The welcome was perfect, and we had access to the room before the scheduled time. We were not looking for a soulless hotel, and this one had the character we wanted. Very well located, just a few steps from the tram, we were also quickly in historic Florence. Our room faced the boulevard, but it had no impact on our sleep and rest... I must say that with an average of 17 to 20 kilometers of walking per day in the city and museums, we fully enjoyed the comfort of the bedding. My son and I thank the staff for their kindness and generosity. Perfect for a getaway between father and son. If you want peace for your sleep, I invite you to request a room not facing the boulevard.

Not great....

Hotel located on the first floor of an old building in the center of Florence but not centrally located. The biggest problem is parking because whether you leave your car on the street, or put it in the nearby garage, it will cost you 30 € per day!
Room all in all not bad, clean but with separate bathroom: you have to leave the room to go there. And here comes the really bad part: the bathroom is old-fashioned and very shabby. The flush does not work by pressing the button: you have to climb and operate the mechanism by putting your hands in the water pan and pulling the hook. Also to reach the room you have to climb a narrow and uncomfortable staircase. All this at a price not even so low since we paid more than 100 € per night for a triple.

Horrible.

Scary hotel, I would call it just that.
Unwelcoming environment, dismal, the flooring of the 40s all dirty, under the bed was full of dust, indecent bedside tables and not to mention the bathroom that here you have to say “hygiene 0” shower cubicle non-existent, you had to place your feet on the floor and mostly the shutter was BROKEN once closed you could no longer open and also the one full of dust.
The bed was a FAKE double, they were two single beds joined together.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND going to stay there if you do not want to find yourself at “Nightmare Hotel”
We also spoke to the owner about changing the room but we were told “that it was not possible to move, also we were not given the opportunity to leave because the refund was not possible.
In conclusion I will NEVER go back, it claims to be 2 stars but looks like a hostel.

Great experience

Great spacious rooms and good communication with owners.
Place was overall pretty clean and the beds were comfortable
Bathroom was nicely kept and all the appliances worked.
There was breakfast in the morning which was very nice.
Also the free WiFi was a bonus
