Great expectations disappointed
Only two points, and only for the view from the breakfast terrace. The rooms don't offer the expected views. The rooms are very dated and poorly maintained. The bed and furnishings also need a complete overhaul. The road to get there is very steep and winding, and it too lacks regular maintenance. The price paid is not justified. The breakfast, served at the table rather than as a buffet, was decent, and the waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a shame, we love that bay and have always dreamed of spending a long time there, but after just one night's stay, we've decided not to return.

Not to be repeated
We ate at the restaurant as outside the hotel, great views of the lion's gulf. ..kitchen to be reviewed and renovated as old style. trattoria penalized by the use of several defrozen products that worsen its quality... there were days of mistral and probably the fishermen did not go out... if you can not propose the usual dishes for lack of fresh products I recommend adjusting the menu

They get lost in a glass of water
Beautiful view, especially at sunset. Requests for baked potatoes at the time of booking, in the morning for the evening. Bring the frozen, cold, bland ones with a very pleasant taste. The vegetable soup, off the menu, without praise and without infamy.

Overnight stay during the mine route
We stayed one night during the walk of the mines, hotel with a beautiful sea view, average dinner, excellent breakfast, fresh fruit brioche, juice and more, having lactose intolerance we were provided with brioche and yogurt without lactose, very kind staff, the only flaw in the room, the bathroom had taps that wobbled, the room was clean, in our opinion it needs a little maintenance

I honestly don’t know where to start or what words to use to describe the experience I had. I'm trying.
In 8 years I've been with my husband I've never had such an experience. To be honest I don’t even like to leave negative reviews but I want to help people who have small children (under the year) to understand if it is really appropriate to book here and here.
The place is worth 11! A beautiful view and even on the beach, despite the beauty of the sea and the time we were there, there were few people and you were like God, so I would recommend it for relaxation and little chaos. MA STOP.
Too bad that the manager is very unempathetic, friendly and helpful. A coolness that they would admire in the safe game of poker but no to the reception of a hotel.
The rooms are quite large but a bit old, the dust was removed maybe the last time a few years ago on the TV cabinet / mirror, but the drawers are clean. Sheets and towels fortunately change them every day, as well as cleaning on the ground and in the bathrooms.
(be careful to turn on the water in the bathroom that splashes everywhere ..), the only friendly and helpful person is the cleaning lady, really nice.
Three scenes struck us as shocking to the nth degree, and are as follows:
On arrival:
to the reception the Lord who had very little welcoming, for a series of “problems” had proposed us to go to another hotel because he would not have satisfied us with the request of the cot for the baby. AFTER CLEARLY REQUESTING IT DURING THE RESERVATION. adding the beautiful phrase that "NOW YOU CAN BRING THE COT FROM HOME". Sure on ryanair by plane who wouldn't bring a cot?
At dinner, the “waitress” (we had half Pension) offers us the choice between 2 starters 2 first courses and 2 second courses. Each of us 3 (father mom and son of 6 years) Chooses but the lady explains that the choice must be the same for the whole family, after a bit of convincing “kindly” makes us make another dish for the child, I also ask her to make the portion of pasta less large because I am sorry then to throw it away and she replies saying THE PORTIONS ARE THESE YOU CAN NOT CHANGE EVERYTHING YOU ASK .. obviously I leave half ‘first, because it’s really abundant (and I’m one who eats) and also asks me “why did she leave? Did she not like them??” boh. To finish the dinner we ask for pannacotta with berries and we get to the black cherry. But who felt like saying anything to her?
Last breakfast: 3croissants, rusks jams honey butter .. all regular ..
The boy asks us if we want something else to ask, my child would have liked another croissant, after requesting it we were told that NO, THERE IS NOT. (Without a single regret of circumstance, but by now we had realized that their Mood was the Popsicle).
After less than 5 seconds two people arrive and bring him hot croissants.
Ehm, vabe. If it was calculated a croissant each just say it. That's it.
DULCIS INFUSION.
Morning: We asked to cook the dough for the 9-month-old baby as we had the pebble to keep him warm.
The Response was NO THERE IS NO Chef. I specified that he would only have to cook 4 min of pasta, the rest I would do everything.
But no, there is no chef.
Clarification: In the whole area, however, no restaurant was willing to cook pasta for the baby. Coming by plane I could not bring a stove. In short, in 2024 in SARDINIA SHOULD I REALLY THINK ABOUT BRINGING A STOVE?
