Perfect

Excellent stay at this beautiful establishment. The room was perfect, clean, quiet, and very comfortable with a view of Mount Etna. Close to the beach and shops. A big thank you to the entire team at the Alexander hotel and especially to Eugenio who allowed my best friend to have a wonderful birthday, we highly recommend this hotel and will return with pleasure!

Great base

We had a very enjoyable week at Hotel Alexander, the staff were superb, room clean and comfortable, good breakfast with gf products available for myself . I had hurt my feet so couldn’t use the pool until the end of the holiday, but again it, and the terrace were very clean. There is a pool bar where you ring a bell to get service. We loved how close to the bus terminal it was, we spent much of our time exploring Taormina, Castelmola and Mazzarò, eating out in Taormina. The buses are very regular, comfy and air conditioned , coaches rather than regular buses. Some of the drivers were very funny. We also had an amazing wine tasting afternoon at Gambino Winery, the coach picked us up and dropped us at the Recanati bus station, so very convenient. There is a great little bar just down from the buses, fab for a night cap! We ended up having to stay on Sicily for a further week due to the eruption of Etna and wished we could have come back to Hotel Alexander, alas no. Highly recommend the hotel as a good priced, comfortable option to explore the area. Thank you

Very good. Very clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Spent 1 week, nothing to complain about, perhaps a lack of fruit at breakfast. Otherwise perfect. Alexander Hotel

Hotel Alexander

Together with my girlfriend and friends stayed at Hotel Alexander this summer. And we couldn't have done better. Rooms were neat and clean, nice pool, beach nearby, good breakfast, bus connection is perfect, very nice and helpful staff and a top manager! Eugenio and his colleagues have also ensured that we have been able to enjoy our holiday very much. Our last day we had to leave early for our return flight. Eugenio had arranged for us that breakfast was ready an hour earlier. Well better arranged we couldn't get it. So therefore thank you Hotel Alexander and its staff. And in the special Eugenio for our super nice stay in beautiful Sicily!

My second home is Sicily.

It's my second home and I've been coming here for 4 years in a row.There is always something new and something old.Love those people and their kindness.The hotel is family run and run by Virdzini, the owner, with her employees.The rooms are large and clean with a nice view. The hotel is located in Recanata which is a quiet part of Giardini Naxos.It is a 10-minute walk to the main area. The bus for all directions is 5minute away. The beaches are close by and choose your favorite The reception is open 24 hours a day and Mary is always at your disposal in the morning, they will do anything but you have to ask. Ottavio in the afternoon,a little shy but a wonderful guy. and Eugenio who looks after us at night., my favorite Sicilian because he is always smiling, ready to fulfill your every wish, even if you don't ask, he sees it in your eyes.Remember this name well.Finally, the pillar and heart of the hotel is Mrs. Virdzinia, a wonderful woman, a humanitarian, I simply love that woman. A hotel that has 3 stars and has a pool, which is rare, should better capitalize on its advantage. I love it, go, try if I'm right that I love them so much and that I return so many times.
