Unforgettable Hospitality, Amazing food, and the sweetest Dog

Our stay at Agriturismo San Leonardello was absolutely unforgettable. The property itself is stunning, with a beautiful garden, breathtaking surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax. The swimming pool was wonderful as well: clean and surrounded by incredible views.
One of the highlights of our stay was meeting the sweetest dog on earth, who lives at the agriturismo and made us smile every single day. Such a lovely addition to an already magical place!
The food was exceptional from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh and high-quality products, and the dinner evening we had was fantastic. The owners and the kitchen staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

I felt like I could have been in a Room with a View - The gentle sunshine, the old house hidden in lemon trees, stone floors, views of Etna, family dinners. The family that runs the place are grandchildren of the owner. A friendly dog, Lily, is the official greeter. Everything is clean, rustic, the food is good and you feel very at home. Everywhere you look is a picture. We slept well. It is not far out in the country at all, but it feels very far away. A great place. We ate breakfast and dinner. One night we had the pasta the “class” had made that afternoon.

Lilliful pleasure of a stay

Stayed 3 nights and used this location for our home base as we visited Etna, Taormina, Matacamasta and Zafarena. The property is part of a family heritage and was their summer home. It was the family plantation/farm for Lemons, oranges, and other agricultural wonders. The two sisters that operate the AgriTourismo are wonderful. The property pet a small beagle cross named Lilly was a great host and made sure to provide us with cuddles and tail wagging welcomes as we came and went on a daily basis. The breakfasts and dinner are excellent.

Paradise within lemon tress with a view of Etna

Great location run by friendly and helpfull family who transformed farm house to charming agriturismo. We lowed breakfast with home made jams, topical local sweets. A great place to stay with a dog. Homemade limoncello and basket of lemons will keep reminding us of amazing 3 days exploring Etna, Catania, Acireale,Acicastello.

A wonderful accommodation surrounded by citrus trees

It was a very good decision to spend 2 days here at the beginning of our tour of Sicily: a wonderful location among lemon, orange and kumquat trees, of which you can eat directly from the tree.
We were the only guests, at the beginning of the season, and got a room with wonderful views.
There was a very rich breakfast with local food.
We had the menu on the 1st. Evening booked in advance and we also spontaneously treated ourselves to lunch on the day of arrival and decided after these super delicious meals, also on the 2nd. Evening to eat there. The value for money is right and they were the best meals of the trip! Although we were the only guests in the evening, apparently no effort was spared to spoil us with the specialties.
We felt very comfortable and can also highly recommend the half-day Etna tour booked through the property.
