A charming hotel in the wonderful Grado
The hotel seemed very fashionable to us from the outside with its white facade color. The lobby was rather small, but perfectly enough for our group.
Our rooms were on the first floor overlooking the promenade. Also a bit of beach could be seen from our room position. The rooms themselves were not very large, but everything was there, what you wished for or needed for living or sleeping: Minibar, bedside box, box, bed, desk with armchair, charging possibility for mobile phone, etc. The rooms were kept marine, which we liked very much: lots of blue and white as a basic color, cord as skirting board by the carpet, old photo wallpapers with pictures of the beach resort in Grado. The bathrooms were lovingly designed with blue-white-flowered tiles. Our rooms had a large loggia with umbrella, table and two chairs.
Special mention must be made of the cleanliness – even the smallest traces of the sand had disappeared from our rooms the next day after cleaning .
Instead of windows, there were doors in the room that led to said loggia. These window doors were equipped with blinds. Due to their soundproofness, when these doors were locked, no noise was heard from the promenade.
With regard to food (we had half board with food in the evening) the hotel took our wishes into consideration. However, the choice of vegetarian food was rather small. Nevertheless, we never went to sleep with a hungry stomach. The food was also delicious.
At breakfast there was something for each of our tour participants: Sausage, cheese, jam, honey – fresh fruit and vegetables, sweets and rolls fresh every day. Water and juices were available, hot drinks could be ordered on site.
In general, it can be said that the entire staff – from waiters, receptionists to cleaners – are very dedicated and take great care of the well-being of their guests. Should we go back to Grado, we will gladly stay again in said house. We felt completely comfortable!

View from the room enviable.
Breakfast ok, varied but not convincing service while the environment itself offers sea views (great choice).
Rooms redone, bright furniture.
Our taste, better than parquet (even fake) rather than that fabric maquette.
Some signs of the end of the season but environments kept well and above all clean.
Parking available a few hundred meters with fun entrance with combination lock.
Soundproofing between rooms non-existent.
Overall a bit expensive.
Would stay again: yes, despite the smudges.
