Just a 15-minute walk from Lecce historic centre, Hilton Garden Inn offers a free gym and an outdoor pool. Outdoor parking is free, and the nearest beaches are a 15-minute drive away.

Comfortable and quiet hotel
The hotel (rather an ugly building in my opinion!) is situated in a quiet residential district about 15 - 20 minutes walk away from the centre of Lecce. The reception staff were very pleasant although on asking, they couldn’t supply me with a non-slip shower mat - I was told to use a towel on the floor of the shower!
The room was a little bit gloomy as there was a lot of dark coloured plastic "wood" on the walls and furniture - plenty of space for luggage and storage. However, the lighting was excellent and the whole room looked very different with the lights on! Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge were provided. Air con. worked very well and kept the temperature at what you had set. Bathroom was quite spacious and everything worked.
Breakfast was good with all the usual cold meats, cheeses, etc, and a good range of hot items (scrambled eggs, sausages, beans,. bacon, etc.) Good fruit salads and fruit juices and a good range of cakes and pastries - delicious! I tried the a la carte menu at the restaurant one evening and the food was very good - well worth trying if you don't fancy the walk into town in the evening.
The area around the hotel was very quiet with very few shops and restaurants but there was a very good gelateria a short distance away - delicious gelato and open quite late in the evening.

Good base for touring Puglia.
Lecce itself is not attractive, but it serves as a base for touring the beaches of Puglia.
The hotel is decent, very good breakfast, and the restaurant.
It has a pool but we did not use it.

Average hotel
Large, quiet, and comfortable room, but it deserves a renovation. (old-fashioned carpet and furniture)
Pleasant rooftop pool, but likewise in need of a renovation.
Breakfast is good, but boxed fruit juice, teaspoons, and plastic cups have no place in a 4-star hotel. And a 2nd hot beverage machine would not be a luxury given the room once full.

Hotel with a lot of variety for breakfast
Excellent breakfast, lots of diversity and with fresh fruits, a rarity! As for the location is about 20min walk from the center, where there are shops Zara, Mango, Kiko. There are nearby markets also local and the Conad, i Lidl is further away, the hotel indicates taxi, it costs 15€. Comfortable room, just one reserve on the carpet that should be removed

Hilton or not Hilton?
Stayed 2 nights for work. In a residential neighborhood, the center can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes on foot. Spacious and well-organized room, the breakfast was truly disappointing. Poorly organized and products not always of good quality. For its category, the hotel could be improved.
