Excellent experience!

Warm welcome, amazing air conditioning. They allowed me an early check-in and gave me the possibility to leave my suitcases at the property for free until late in the afternoon. Impeccable cleanliness. In a few steps on foot you can reach the historic center
Where we had dinner in one of the excellent
Restaurants that were recommended to us. We will see each other again very soon!

Overall I would rate this a 3.5 stars as the only let down was I had to wait until a cleaner exited the property in order to be able to get in. He personally was very helpful despite not being fluent in English. There was no one at check in (I arrived at 15:05) or check out (10:00 pronto) which was very strange. No message received beforehand with any access codes to enter the building - all I had was an envelope with my name directing me to the allocated room. When I checked out the following morning, again there was no one at the desk so I can only hope the key and my note were received safely.
The positives however far outweigh the above negative. Location - excellent! The room and overall cleanliness - superb! I was unable to enjoy the balcony as my room was facing the main road and next to a very busy bar. The ear foams provided next to the bed suddenly made sense and were a lifesaver during the night.
Will I return to this hotel if I were ever to visit Lucca again? Absolutely, but I do hope I get to see someone at check in and check out!

When it's enough to grab money

The only objective is to increasingly take advantage of travellers to pluck without a minimum of professionalism
In summary ... I book and accept a price of 90 euros for a double single use, price of 4 star hotel other than B&B
But so far it is a law of supply and demand, only these managers take advantage of it.
The room: a non-working miniature television, bathroom without bidet, tiny plastic shower that floods the bathroom after use. Broken bidet lid ripped towels, noisy fridge all night and empty etccc
Sent a text in the evening saying the TV wasn't working and they didn't even answer. The next morning I pointed out the various drawbacks. The guy on duty doesn't even listen to me and just says that if towels are torn, it's not their fault because they rent them; and whose responsibility should that be?
Treated with absolute sufficiency as if I were bothering. Obviously I will be careful not to disturb again, but someone should start watching over these takers of situations.

Apartment situated two minute walk from station and close to city walls. Apartment slightly dated but nice outside terrace area. Office area to leave bags and excellent communication with host.

We stayed in the ‘Tina’ apartment which was a spacious full apartment with a workable kitchen and a large terrace for dining and relaxing.our location in the building was quite quiet. Some small bedrooms on the front would be noisy perhaps. The only drawback was that it was on the first floor, no elevator and 26 stairs up. Difficult with suitcases. The location was excellent and very close to the train station.Wifi was excellent too. A good choice for a few days or longer.
