A delightful guesthouse near to the centre of town
This is a small guest house of four delightful rooms. The owner bought a large apartment in an old building of town in 2019 and renovated it into a clean, modern guest house over two years. The bathroom is as good as any you would get in a 3 star hotel with a super efficient air conditioning unit in the room. The bed is comfortable with a wonderfully firm to medium mattress. The guest house is a 20 minute walk from the station and is very near the botanical gardens from which you can walk up to Luca’s famous earthen ramparts for a delightful stroll around the whole town. The famous circular amphitheatre is just 10 minutes away. The continental breakfast is OK with the owner preparing it himself. The guest house is two flight of stairs up with no lift, but the owner will come down and take your luggage up. Overall, this is a delightful ‘mom and pop’ place to stay in Lucca win your hard earned cash helping small, local businesses rather than large, impersonal chains of hotels.

Everything was great!
Wonderful! Great location, clean and lovely room. Comfortable bed! Breakfast just as in the photos. Lots of options and all delicious!

Great , clean and comfortable
Just returned from a 4 night stay in this lovely B&B within the walled city of Lucca
Rooms aware large well furnished very comfortable beds
The bathrooms are modern and showers new and well appointed
Breakfast are plentiful lots of fresher baked products
Would return and recommend anytime

Very bad experience
We had booked two rooms many months before for the period of the comics, but two weeks before the event he informed us with an email that he would close the BB and that he would return our deposits with compensation, so we remained without accommodation until the last

BEWARE DO NOT BOOK
Contacted in September for the Lucca comics period, he gives me the availability of a double room, I send a deposit and he doesn't hear from me for a month... I persistently call and after several attempts he finally answers me saying he has problems and that he probably can't confirm anymore the reservation!
Be wary of this B&B, during the Lucca comics period they ask for booking deposits in advance and then cancel at the last minute with excuses such as illnesses, various problems etc.
