The best birthday stay ever
What an incredible experience.
I booked 5 nights months ago as a surprise for my husband’s 60th BD .
I had numerous E Mail contact prior to staying and communication was excellent.
We had the Bandino suite with our dog Nellie .
No words can actually describe how stunningly beautiful this place is .
Everything is just perfect .
From the time we arrived to the time we left it was incredible.
Our suite was so gorgeous, the furnishings, the views , the small touches made it so special .
The freshwater pool is just somewhere you want to spend time at , relaxing , enjoying the views .
The food, is some of the best we’ve eaten on our trip , Alisha in the kitchen is one very talented chef .
Nothing is too much trouble here , it’s seamless service , not at all stuffy , the staff cannot do enough for you without being intrusive .
Stephanie, Pedro , Andreas , Giulio , Alexia and of course the very talented Alisha made our stay a real treat .
Nellie was spoilt rotten and even had Andreas look after her for a few hours whilst we went on a trip.
This has to be one of the best places we have stayed in for the sheer beauty of its surroundings and the gorgeous Villa , it’s like being in someone’s house where you are made to feel so comfortable.
Thank you for making Adies birthday so special and one we will remember for years to come .
I can only dream of returning and I know Nellie would absolutely love too.

Absolutely magical
The most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed! The pictures do not do this place justice.
We loved absolutely every second of our stay, in particular:
* Very chic interiors; feels design led
* The staff were wonderful and service was very personalised. The best type of luxury with none of the pretentiousness. The team were so attentive and accommodating for our 1 year old baby and our dietary requirements (vegan). They whipped us up the most unbelievable dinners with no notice.
* The food was 10/10
* The setting and the views are magical
* The relaxed atmosphere
* Very conveniently located to get the train into Lucca for dinner or the day
* Huge spacious room, comfy bed, lovely bath products
Thank you for such a wonderful stay - we are already planning our next trip back!

Paradise in Tuscany …close to Lovely Lucca
We feel in love with Tentu Tramonte from the moment we arrived. We received a warm welcome, they walked us around the grounds. The views were beautiful.
Our room had a balcony and was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was amazing and we had dinner there one evening and the food was one of our best while staying in Italy. We purchased their olive oil and wished we had room in our luggage for their wine. The staff was attentive especially Andrea he went above and beyond for us during our stay.
We didn't want to leave and I hope we can return. One of the best places we have ever stayed. I miss it already. Highly recommend!!!!

Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer !
Tenuta di Tramonte was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Italy in years. It was a last minute booking when we decided to go a day early before heading to a villa of our friend’s son for a week . It was the best decision . Arriving from London we spent the early afternoon in Lucca which we love and then headed to the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted as if we were friends. The hotel has an amazing setting. We were given a tour of the grounds including the natural pool and were told about the history and the seven year conversion of the convent into a hotel with only seven beautiful rooms each with gorgeous views and huge bathrooms with every little luxury. We ate dinner at the hotel - elegant and each dish was a work of art . Beautifully presented.bread is made at the villa and has to be the best bread in Tuscany. Breakfast was an Italian array with so many handmade pastries and cakes and we ate it looking at the hillside and dreaming about coming back which we will certainly do .

For us this was Tuscan heaven - welcome introduction to Tuscany. Initially a bishop’s residence, then a convent, this small hotel sits on the hillside looking over the valley and to the mountains in one side and towards the sea in the other. The husband and wife owners were present and very helpful, their staff the same. The interiors and gardens are a mix of old world and contemporary. It’s like being a guest in someone’s home. Ok the pool is not heated (was like beaches at home at this time of year) and there did not appear to be a lift, and no TV in the room - for some those are essential, but for us the place was perfect, no traffic noise or sirens, a getaway and a return to high quality essentials. We had dinner and breakfast- not lots of choice, no long menus - yet again like staying with a good friend. Menus focused on local produce. An experience that reminds us of the best of the west coast of Scotland, Canada, Norway and Japan - an experience that resets what is essential and important to life. We will be back.
FYI - we flew to Pisa - taxi to Lucca - lunch in the well known Piazza della Amfiteatro - and after took a taxi (as there was a national strike) rather than a train to Florence.
