Best property, best staff, best location! I was in Lucca for 1 week and I learned the area and the hotel. Cannot rate high enough. I was stranded by taxi at 9pm in Lucca city. (Long story) Called hotel, they figured out where I was, sent a taxi for me, made late dinner reservations. Thank you Sarah.
Nice bathroom, lift, air conditioning that works, big bedroom. Called taxis when I needed them, great breakfast, felt catered to. Go to their restaurant just for the lavender panna cotta. Enjoy!

FROZEN CROISSANTS and NO ORANGE JUICE..

Perfect location, a good standard of hotel - BUT
A pitiful breakfast with;
FOZEN CROISSANTS and TOASTING BREAD, and NO ORANGE JUICE.
Staff said the owner was cost cutting.
It's deplorable and an insult to guests who sought and paid for their stay.
It's PATHETIC, you can't run a hotel cutting costs that guests can see, all I see is you hiding behind Aqua dell Elba.
Costing cutting equals a bad review and less customers, go to a business and hospitality school and get educated...
Thank God the rest of Lucca was perfect..

Weekend in Lucca

Location in a great location within the walls, very friendly staff (Angelo, Fabio, Gianluca and Stefania). Comfortable and clean room. The only negative point is the breakfast that does not suit a 4* and cramped spaces. We got to have dinner and lunch at the restaurant where the food and service are good.

Breakfast was good
Our group was able to enjoy a nice breakfast and several cups of coffee, while discussing what our plans for the day were.

Great hotel but ...

Hotel located in a great location, convenient to walk around Lucca, very friendly and helpful staff.
But there are two things that must be reviewed:
1 - the mattresses (we were in 3 pairs) in all three rooms the mattress was old and sunk, inconceivable for a 4 star
2 - breakfast with an extremely limited supply of products and therefore completely inadequate for a 4 star.
