Nice pool and sun deck with stunning views
We arrived very late from Malpensa airport. The instructions were clear and the self check-in worked perfectly. We parked our car in the garage easily.
B004 which is front row on the ground floor with direct access to the pool and sun deck was our apartment. We enjoyed the well maintained pool area very much every day. The sea view is stunning. Our apartment was spacious for the three of us, in my opinion it would also fit for up to six people because there are 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen equipment is very complete, a lot of dishes and kitchenware available. Yes we brought a few dishwashing tabs and other daily items from home.
The area is residential and away from the highways. There are restaurants within walking distance. There is a train station nearby and the ferry station can be reached by foot 15 minutes along the beach maybe.
We look forward to coming back.

OK ish but wouldn’t come back
Starting with the pros:
Location is great with a few nice restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, and playground within short walking distance.
The team are pretty responsive prior to booking; emails were responded to pretty quickly and professionally
Friendly and easy check-in
Underground parking is pretty decent with well marked spaces so you know which is yours
Our apartment had a fabulous full lake view
The Cons:
Cleanliness: The apartment was just not that clean. They stress in bold in their literature that you have 1 hour from arrival to report this, so I suspect they know they have a problem. However, you don’t really see it until you’re here for a while and begin to see the colour of your socks go brown from a poorly cleaned floor, cups and glasses with marks around the rim, etc. The reality is within a few hours you feel like re-washing all the dishes, mopping the floors, cleaning door handles, etc.
Amenities: They’re pretty stingy with basics like rubbish bin bags where you get just 1-2 small ones for your entire stay. Same with shower gel where you get a tiny bottle per person per stay that can’t be more than 30-50ml. Ditto just 2 dishwasher tablets.
Despite no longer listing them as an amenity, I also found it frustrating that they have no less than 3 EV chargers which they have either deactivated or left broken.
Condition: I immediately reported two issues on arrival, the curtains would not close in the living room and the sliding balcony door was next to impossible to open and close. We were told a repair man would fix the curtain, but no one ever came. We were told the balcony door was due to the weight of the glass; a frankly laughable excuse; it was clearly faulty and was never fixed.
Overall the apartment was pretty tired and in need of some renovation.

Nice views, but overall mediocre, overrated and expensive for what it offers..
Very mixed feelings... Though the apartment itself was clean and spacios with nice views, the infrastructure at the accommodation was very poor: passes between the houses were all closed, swimming pool did not work - it only works 2 months a year (2 months!), same as the advertized jacuzzi - unlike the logic tells, they only let the jacuzzi work in the two hottest months of the year (July and August), which is astonishing.. Getting the deposit money from the reception (for the rented boat) took a lot of time and required complaints and the direct involvement of the Credit Card Bank - only then were we able to reinforce the return of the deposited Euro 500.00. Aircons are extremely old style and do not cool down the rooms (the blown air is not regulated and is warm). People at the reception appear very friendly, but the service hours are limited to a couple per day.

Beautiful Golfo Gabella
Our family of 6 (inc 4 teenage boys) recently stayed in apartment 102/103. The apartment is beautiful and so spacious, plenty of room for 8. The view from the kitchen and 2 balconies is stunning. Very well equipped for our week long stay. Golfo Gabella is quiet and relaxing with a great, well maintained pool & jacuzzi and sun deck.
We ate in La Gabella several times (food & atmosphere is excellent) and lake side restaurants near the Lido.
We visited Cannobio, the lido there, took the train to Locarno, Switzerland (highly recommend), hired a boat on the lake and used SUPs. There are a few lovely coffee/ gelato shops close by and a small supermarket for all essentials.
Highly recommend a holiday here and we hope to return someday.
We ate in La Gabella several times (food & atmosphere is excellent) and lake side restaurants near the Lido.

Very nice and spacious apartments.
We had the apartment C004 which is directly above the garage entrance.
Downsides were:
- heating which was always heating up to 28°C!!! and we were not able to adjust it. Only thing we could do is opening the windows.
- Very loud due to the garage entrance. Even deep at night people are coming and leaving...
- Very bright lamps outside in front of the bedroom which are shining directly into the room which even the curtains can not darken.
- Kitchen quite dirty. Cuttlery and dishes horrible.
Besides that very nice sea and pool view. Large terrace with cosy garden furniture.
Outside of high season very quite area. Good pizza restaurant directly at the complex.
