Beautiful Views, Warm Staff and Total Relaxation. Highly Recommended.
We stayed at Hotel Sole Splendid for almost a week while visiting the Amalfi Coast, and our experience was truly wonderful. The staff answered our questions promptly before we arrived, which made planning easier.
Our Family Room had two balconies with breathtaking views of the sea and coastline. The room was spotless, relaxing, and spacious enough for our family of three. The common areas were bright and welcoming. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. They assisted us with tour arrangements and kept us well informed throughout our stay.
Breakfast was excellent, offering both sweet and savory options, including fresh pastries, local cheeses, cold cuts, and homemade jams. The restaurant recommendations from the staff were spot‑on—we enjoyed authentic flavors from the region every night.
If you’re arriving by ferry, the hotel is located at the end of the main road, about a 15‑minute walk from the port. For those with luggage, a porter service is available at the port for a very reasonable price. The hotel sits directly across from the beach, with easy access just steps away. We spent time there almost every day.
We loved our stay in Maiori—the beachfront, the town center, the shops, bars, and restaurants are all easily walkable. Watching local children play and seeing the interactions among residents added a charming, authentic feel to the town. Many of the shops and restaurants are still family‑owned, creating a warm community atmosphere.
For anyone seeking sea views, relaxation, and comfort in one of the most beautiful places on the Amalfi Coast, I highly recommend Hotel Sole Splendid. Its beautiful location, clean and calming atmosphere, and warm, friendly staff made our stay unforgettable.

Pleasant stay in Maiori
Regardless of the wedding that was nearby, the location is excellent for visiting the area, a free beach is practically in front of the hotel, a partner beach is 2 minutes away (maybe even less), and you can reach all the most picturesque places in a few minutes by bus.
Living with the parking problem all year round, personally, I really appreciated the possibility of leaving the car; it's true that it's paid, but (since it's the coast) it's money well spent.
Clean rooms; the one I stayed in was a few years old but was kept in excellent condition, clean, and functional.
Courteous service at the reception.
I was supposed to stay with my partner, but she was held back by work needs; I promised myself I would return.
