A beautiful comeback.
It was lovely to come back to Casale Alma this summer. The place is just perfect and Michele, Maurizio and Vincenzo are just wonderful people! A truly magic atmosphere. Thank you for everything, guys! See you soon, I hope.

Sufficient
I don't agree with some of the reviews I've read because they aren't true.
The farmhouse is a beautiful 20th century style villa on a hill with a well-kept botanical garden and views of the Egadi islands. This is the positive aspect.
The rest: cleanliness to be reviewed both in the room and in the bathroom. Lots of dust on the beams. For those who are allergic to dust, they feel it a lot.
There are no mosquito nets on the windows. There is no hot water in the bathroom. Two nights both without hot water in the shower.
Single clothesline for 4 rooms only in the garden and without pegs.
Really bad breakfast, industrial and without anything fresh. And we are in Sicily where nothing is missing in this respect. Only the desire to offer a good service. Swimming pool not maintained. Cleanliness aspect does not invite use. I don't even think that's the goal of hosting.
The farmhouse is also used for evening parties, without any mention being made to paying guests.
Parking inside the structure.
Road to reach the structure uphill towards the hill 12 minutes from Marsala and paved with rubbish abandoned on the sides of the road along the route.
Poor figure towards tourists and foreigners.
A piece of advice, pay less attention to appearance and focus on substance. some unrealistic reviews.

Truly beautiful
Casale alma is situated a little way out of Marsala in a very peaceful location. The whole structure is beautifully thought out and the host clearly loves what he does! Breakfast is had outside with all the guests eating together and an incredible amount of home made delights! Highly recommended for a beautiful holiday!!

Overbooking a problem ?
Looking at the reviews on here it seemed that somebody else also had a problem with an overbooking (in June) We turned up to be told that they had no trace of our booking fortunate we had a copy of the confirmation and they were apologetic and then found us somewhere else to say ( next door Villa Carlo Resort). They asked us to join them for the supper - we were 9 people a Swedish couple, a Canadian couple, a German lady, a French couple and ourselves excellent food and good company. The owner while speaking little English tried to be friendly - I disagree with the review from June 8th though without GPS it would be impossible to find.

Lovely house out in the country near Marsala
Beautiful home, specially friendly and helpful charming hosts. Breakfast simply wonderful with lots of home-made specialties. Views of the Egadi islands, too. Probably a good idea to have a GPS. A tiny bit off the beaten path.
