Excellent place for a family

The apartment was great very comfortable and clean. The owner was very helpful. It was a great stay for my family, we will definitely return to Marsala and when we do we will most certainly stay Again

Spacious and Tidy

We stayed for one night in a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious, tidy and well equipped. The little ocean view from the glassed in balcony/sunroom/laundry was a little treat. Parking spots are easy to find on the street below.
There are several small shops close by for essentials and its a very non taxing walk into the main town where there are plenty of restaurants.
The host is more than happy to give great advice about places to eat, things to do and places to go and has also set up a really helpful wall of information with all the above on it.

A comfortable, well located apartment

We stayed for 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment at La Salinella and found it spacious, clean and comfortable. Our apartment had a pleasant balcony with a view to the sea (and which gave a sea breeze).
The location suited us as it was generally quiet and within walking distance of the attractive old town - though the intervening area is not particularly attractive. It is also very convenient for driving to locations to the north (e.g. Mozia, Trepani, Erice) without having to negotiate the one-way system of the main town. We always found free parking close to the apartment.
We found a large supermarket 5 minutes’ walk away in Corso Antonio Gramsci, which enabled us to prepare some meals in the apartment (sometimes a relaxing change from constant eating out). There is also a nearby bakery (panificio). However, the kitchen equipment was rather basic, possibly assuming that no one is actually going to prepare meals here. The only supplies provided were salt and pepper and there weren’t even any wine glasses – amazing for Italy!
The owner, Alessandra, gave us plenty of information to orientate ourselves at the beginning of our stay, and told us to ring her if we needed any further help. The free wifi worked well.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend La Salinella as comfortable budget accommodation.

great!

I visited La Salinella with my family and stayed there 5 nights on the begining of our vacation and we liked it so much, that we returned on the last day before our flight home. We stayed in 2 different apartments and both were great - spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The owner Alessandra was very helpful, on the first day she had some cool water waiting for us in the fridge and when we were leaving, she gave us a bottle of nice sicilian wine. The location is also pretty good and all in all I can only say that if you choose this apartments you should not be dissapointed.

Multa Marsala Multo Amore A GR8 Crib!

Wow how I miss this place & the Hosts! Had the best Spring of my life and 5 nights here were the icing on the cake. Loved the pad, view & especially the excellent hospitality. If U plan to spend time in Marsala you would be crazy to stay elsewhere! Get dialed into the "Island Life" right here!
