It's going to sound like I work for them, but I don't!
When I dragged my travel-weary bones to this hotel, I was greeted so warmly by Genny "Jenny" that I felt like I was visiting a beloved relative. She offered me a plate of cake, kindly showed me my beautiful, astonishingly well-furnished, clean and airy room, and then let me be. What a delightful lady! What a perfectly clean and well-functioning room! I got the green-and-white-striped room. It had a kitchenette, stocked with everything you'd need to cook. The bedroom is a loft, which was really fun. The view from the window is (shown).
It's literally a few minutes walk from the Archaeological Museum. There's no reason to take a cab. Just get on the metro line 1 (from Napoli Centrale) to Museo. If you are facing the museum entrance, there's a wedge-shaped road above the main street on your left. Just walk up there to the beige arch, take a right, and walk a bit. Voila! You're there already. (It's hard even with GPS and so many people said they didnt understand where they were in a cab). It's a former palazzo, wiht one of those enormous wooden sets of doors and a little human-sized portal. All you have to do is dial the Relais's number and press the Call button and the door pops open,. They're on the second floor. Before you go up, pause to look at the arch once you step through the door of the building. It's astonishing!
My room was so clean and neat, cozy and comfortable. Genny brought cake every day, and there were snacks in my room, and she gave me a liter of water. She herself is a loving, gentle, generous hostess and she really touched my heart. What a lovely, lovely three nights!
NOTE: if you walk UP the street and go around the curve, you'll find restaurants that are not as touristy as the ones by the museum.

I arrived there late in the evening by taxi, I was shocked when I pulled up outside. I told the taxi this couldn’t be , there was no signage and it was in an alley. I tried calling the number and they didn’t speak English. About 45 minutes later someone showed up opened the panel and the wall so we could go in there was laundry hanging from the windows, broken windows and trash everywhere. The picture that Expedia had online look nothing like this place I took pictures. Needless to say, I did not stay there. The agent from Expedia wasn’t much help that she left us stranded in the alley. I went online and booked a hotel by myself very dissatisfied they would not refund my money. I would love to send you the pictures they are horrifying.

We had the best time staying here while in Naples for 2 days. The owner lives on the property and is the sweetest person ever. She will do whatever she can to make you feel welcome and ensure that your stay is amazing. We got complementary coffee every morning and we were able to have a taxi called for us whenever we needed one. The only downside was that the shower was limited in space. Also make sure to have cash to pay the tourist tax, as that is what’s preferred by the owner!

A wedding favor
The apartment I would call a wedding favor, tastefully decorated, clean and with all comforts.
The friendly, helpful owner pampered us bringing us every morning dessert and coffee to say good morning.
The location is convenient to the metro Museum and also to Dante.
To reach it there is a climb or staircase that could be uncomfortable for those with strollers or wheelchairs. We were very well and would definitely recommend it.

Friendly staff, great coffee in the morning. Room as described and we were very happy with it , location suited us as we like to walk everywhere. Would recommend. Also Naples has a bad reputation but we felt as safe as any other city. Don’t believe the hype
