Nice place to stay, but check the weather prior.

This location was recommended by our guide in Sicily. The location was very nice in the center of the city and a short walk to the main pedestrian walkway. The room was clean and well maintained and the bathroom quite nice and spacious. The common spaces were charming and the outdoor garden was so nice. We enjoyed our time drinking wine and snacking there. The breakfast was first rate and the coffee delicious.
At check in we were rushed in and the employee who was there made several derogatory statements. Her expectations of us after a long day of travel was not acceptable. She was unable to turn on the air conditioning and throughout our stay, the air conditioning either was paltry or not working. The skylights did open and this did allow for air flow and a comfortable temperature. However, the street was noisy with motorcycle noise until 2 AM and early morning noise as well.
Overall, I would recommend this place in the winter and early spring or late fall. If the weather is warm, your sleep will be disrupted.

Ideal for group of friends or families

Hostess who informed us of the site, restaurants, places to visit, very nice. Luxury apartment, well located in the center, with 4 independent rooms with air conditioning and bathroom with shower. Super equipped and price contained. There were 6 of us and we left delighted. Cleanliness, decoration and no noise.

Beautiful apartment for an anniversary holiday

Our stay at the BB22 Palace apartment was perfect. The apartment is beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed (and more) to cook and enjoy aperitivi at home. We had the space to ourselves so it was very relaxing and comfortable for our week stay. Our host Patricia is the best - gave top recommendations for every sort of bar, restaurant and supermarket. We also went on a guided tour with Daniel through the Ballaro, Capo and Vucchiria markets, which was fantastic. We sampled all the local snacks and learned about Palermo’s history and landmarks along the way. I highly recommend the BB22 Palace and the folks who took care of us were wonderful. We’ll be back!
