Particular and to remember.

Beautiful country, a nice atmosphere even in the evening and especially not too touristy.
The idea of the widespread hotel that also enhances other properties in the country is always beautiful.
Unfortunately we were in a building 50 meters from the main one and certainly not as elegant as the latter, and this can sometimes be penalizing. Beautiful idea by the managers to enhance the country with other initiatives, such as a bookshop where you can take books with a small offer .Insomma an experience that remains in the memory of the trip.

Too bad, high expectation, bad result

Drawn by advertising after so many years we returned to try this restaurant.
In early June we thought we could eat in the garden as advertised and instead we are told that it is too hot and they let us have lunch inside.
The seemingly sought-after dishes leave much to be desired.
The croutons are not croutons, they are something else, inedible!! ... the Tuscan livers are tasteless, served with a small salty brioche, insufficient ..
The first ones nothing special.
The obscene sweet.
The inadequate service, not attentive and not even punctual with unacceptable forgetfulness.
Lack of cutlery, in two people bring the dishes at different times one from the other, dessert serve the course when I had already consumed half comes the waiter with another ingredient to be included in the dessert as a condiment.
The owner, responsible, who also acts as a waitress, runs between the room and the kitchen screaming the commands .. as if she were in a market stall.
The price could be adjusted if everything goes smoothly but in this case excessive.

An amazing stay at Al Vecchio Convento

We stayed at Al Vecchio Convento to celebrate my mothers birthday and had an amazing time. Ulla, Marisa and the whole team were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house is very special, with old furniture and a lovely terrase to enjoy an aperitivo at sunset. The food at the restaurant was amazing, made by first class chefs. We also had a cooking class with Nicola, which was the highlight of our trip. I cannot recommend the place enough!

Fine accomodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming and authentic hotel: the hostess, family and staff do everything in their power to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. We appreciated the restaurant that much we dined there each evening, excellent cuisine with regional products!
The location is also an excellent base for a visit to Ravenna or a hike to the Cascate dell' Acquachetta.
Highly recommendable on all levels!

The town of Dante and Beatrice

hotel located in a village that is as small as it is beautiful (which I recommend seeing during the Christmas period for the countless nativity scenes made along the road).
Extremely friendly and skilled staff, clean and warm rooms. We also had dinner and I must say that none of the dishes lived up to expectations.
