Beautiful Hotel, Beautiful Location

This wonderful hotel is located in a winery on the north slope of Mount Etna, about 10 minutes drive from the town of Randazzo. We were greeted by Paulo Vasallo one of the two owner brothers. Our room had an Etna view and had a door which opened onto a beautiful terrace, perfect for enjoying a glass or two of their fine wine.
We booked a wine tasting for the following day which was directed by the other brother, Corrado Vasallo. We received large glasses of each of the wines, accompanied by a local antipasti plate, while Corrado explained the types of grapes, the vintages, the terroirs etc. We were also given a tour of the old original winery which has been superseded by a modern facility a few miles away.
High praise must go to Moussa, who seemed to work 24/7 and was always on hand to help us when needed.
Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was not open during our stay except for cold plates and breakfast, because it was extremely early in their season and occupancy rates were low then, but looking at the menu it seems to be very good indeed.
A truly wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

An oasis of peace in the heart of Sicily!
We stayed at this establishment for a weekend and were enchanted. The agriturismo is immersed in greenery, surrounded by spectacular vineyards and olive groves. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very quiet. The owners welcomed us as if we were family, demonstrating a rare kindness and availability. It is the ideal place to unplug and rejuvenate. We will definitely return for a longer stay!

Etna at it's best

Truly lovely vineyard resort with incredible view of Mt Etna. The location is excellent for exploring the area and provides a welcome tranquil respite from hectic travel. Farm to table eating provides gourmet dining with exceptional wine. Staff and owners are super attentive. One of the best places we have stayed in Italy.

A lovely stay near Etna

We had a lovely stay in this charming hotel for 3 nights, and it was a perfect base to explore the local wineries and taste some delicious wines, including their own as a tasting of their wines was included. It was amazing to see their original winery, learn about their history, and then to enjoy the wines with some local appetisers on the terrace, with Etna as our view. We enjoyed dinner, the menu was very much about showing local dishes, and the breakfast was relatively simple but had everything you needed, including some great coffee.
We met and were looked after very well by both the brothers, we would certainly look to stay here again to explore more about this very special part of Sicily.

Wonderful stay with delicious wine and beautiful view of mount Etna. Great place for making beauty memory.

The stay at the winery was such a special experience. The view of mount Etna from the terrace was so beautiful throughout dinner and breakfast. Wine tasting and tour by owner Feud was very informative. The two brothers restored ex military hospital to a beautiful winery hotel. We enjoyed sharing their pasión for delicious wine. Food was superb as well as wine. We had such a wonderful time. Highly recommend to stop over as it is less than an hour from Taormina!
