Great little spot!
The only drawback is the noise from the traffic but you can shut your windows, there is air con available. Nice little breakfast also at the start of the day! Well worth the money!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced and the most moldiest shower
The side part, it was a super hot day 35C degree heatwave all day. And we walk all over Rome, it was a lot. We really want to take a shower. And most importantly to charge our phones because it was our last night and we flew out next day 10PM. We can’t check in a plane ticket because our phones goes off (using photos and maps all day). And that’s why we really needed the last charge of our phones.
The man looks at the AC controller and that’s it. We start arguing, but he didn’t understand that we need power. He just repeats that we are uneducated and loud and doesn't want to understand that we were tired and frustrated and want power (and really weren't loud). He was super rude. He says if we don’t like something, we should leave and find another place to sleep. We have stayed many different places over the years around the world: hotels, hostels, youth hostels, motels, airb&b but I have never experienced this attitude towards paying customers. He didn’t give a shet about our electricity problem, he didn’t want to accept that we also paying for both a room and electricity. At the end of the discussion, he asks where we are from, the answer was "Hungary" and he waved and left. And as soon I closed the door, the power went out. But not by accident this time. We waited again. Then we looked into the office and there was the light.
In our room, the circuit was turned off at the switchboard. After leaving our door, he purposely turned off the power in our room. It was a the most pathetic, childish move I have ever experienced. There was a grown man and his solution to turn off our room’s power - because we were loud for 2 minutes. Maybe he thinks he’s teaching us a lesson, I don’t know. Then the whole apartment turn off again, and he didn’t came back. Our phones are dead. Next (same) day morning a lady knocking she starts to speak italian (she checked us in 3 days ago - we still speak only english). She said she didn’t understand why the power went out. When I ask who he was last night and told her what he did, she just told us he was her husband and our neighbours calling him because there is no electricity (and she pretends not to hear what he did, just repeats that she didn’t understand why the power went out). So, nobody complain about us being loud! The complaint was because there was no electricity and they were awake too and probably they needed it too. She didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, she didn’t care her husband was rude to us. Or most importantly that he is purposely turn off the power. She pretends she didn’t hear that part. Then the power came back and we were able to charge our phones halfway through.
I would like to note that there was electricity in the entire stairwell, it only affected this apartment. The system could not manage 3 rooms. It was a traditional apartment with 3 separate rooms. And the 3 rooms opened from the main office space. Their shetty place cannot handle 3-room AC+boiler for hot water, and lights and chargers.
After that I won’t sleep any at this night. I was angry and then really scared, what if the crazy old man comes back and forces us to leave the room? There were 3 women, what if he opens a door and just walks into the room... It was not a calm situation.
Everything else: The shower was super moldy, I mean super. It was disgusting. It looked like they never tried to clean it. The boiler was too small, it did not provide enough hot water for 3 people 2 minutes shower (and it was room for 3 people), the last one always take a cold shower... We tried to turn it off, after a few minutes, we didn’t have long shower, but there was never enough hot water (again, pathetic).
The toiletries was 3 piece one-use simples.. for 3 people to 3 night.. It’s lucky that we have our own shower gel and shampoo or we have to buy them too, not just the toilet papers.
And the cleaning saga... at the beginning was half a roll of toilet paper, we used it all for 3 days, there was no more, and on day of the cleaning the lady didn’t bring new ones. But she tries to make our beds. All blankets she put on were stained, dirty spots. And she didn’t change the sheets or do another cleaning.. (mopping, sweeping, bathroom cleaning). And the AC could not be turned off.
Just don’t go there. I know it’s cheap, but it’s not worth it. I have never experienced such rude and aggressive behavior towards anyone, any other human being, especially not to customer service. I think the bare MINIMUM is to have toilet paper and electricity if you stay somewhere. We really didn't want to complain about anything but this late-night power arguing thing didn't happen because of the price. But this! This is not acceptable even for a cheap place!

Do NOT stay here
Venice late and had an early flight out in the morning. The ONLY positive about this place was the proximity to the Termini station. Our room and bathroom smelled like mold and out white sheets had stains on them. Our room door would not unlock from the inside to let us out! We were literally locked in our room! It took like 5 minutes jiggling the lock & handle to get out! Save your $$ and don't stay here...gross.
