Italian style and panache

Stayed three nights as a post cruise stay in Rome. What a lovely hotel! From the doorman getting you wearing hat and tails to the beautiful uniforms for the staff, this place is class all the way. Beautifully appointed property with high end amenities and finishes. Room was a bit small however that is common in Rome. The amenities and custom touches were what made this a great stay.
Breakfast was lovely, not a huge selection however refined and well delivered presentation from a two tiered pastry tray for each table to the most delicious cappuccino!
Staff was lovely and the service was top notch.

Excellent experience

Excellent location - quiet yet central. The room (only standard) was comfortable and stylish. The staff members were professional yet warm and friendly. Breakfast was beautifully presented with quality products. Rooftop aperitivo delightful. Will recommend and return.

Anniversary in Rome

We chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and first time in Rome based on its quality and location.
We booked through Hilton which offers upgrades based on availability. Instead of that being discussed at check-in they tried to sell us an upgrade. It was very strange to have the first conversation at check-in be a sales pitch. Especially without first discussing our room options.
We arrived early so we left our bags and went to our Vatican Tour. When we returned to check-in to our room they told us we didn’t have a reservation. Overall the check-in process was not the quality I would expect from a hotel of this type.
Once we were checked-in the room itself was perfect. They also gifted us a cake to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.
We were only able to take advantage of the breakfast one of our two days due to our Tour schedule but it was a great way to start the day.
If we return to Rome we would look to stay here again.

If only....

I can only speak of the lunch experience ( unfortunately, as I was not a guest at this gorgeous hotel) which was delightful.
I was drawn to sit outside this elegant place, by the lovely music and the shaded tables. We shared a delicious prawn & vegetable frittura and some wine. The staff were friendly and professional. The toilets are Art Deco glamour. The cocktails on the rooftop terrace were delicious and accompanied by tasty amuse-bouche canapés. The security guard Dario was so kind and found my sunglasses and booked us our taxi.
I'd love to stay one day to luxuriate in that cosy, stunning palace.
