A very pleasant budget stay

A pleasant budget hotel, couldn't fault it. Air conditioned room, good decor, friendly accomodating staff. Surrounding area outside a little untidy and run down, but the hotel itself we could not fault. Breakfast choice limited. Thankyou.

TOO BAD

A small hotel with remarkable potential for location, cleanliness, and staff style. Ideal for the walking tourist. All the good impressions are shattered by the obsessive use of this €100 security deposit for any damages caused by the customer. It is a terrible feeling to be welcomed as potential vandals, but unfortunately, it is legal. Where does the problem arise? 1) The receipt for the deposit is signed by a private individual of whom we know nothing; they must know my shoe size, but the person signing does not provide their details; a ridiculous fact legally; 2) The assessment of the customer's level of civility is entrusted to the indisputable judgment of the staff who tidy the rooms; 3) The presence of the customer is prohibited for any counterarguments; 4) The fee is returned within TWO WEEKS (!) while an unsettling amount in red flashes on your account. I checked out at 08:00, and by 20:00, the refund had not yet been processed. I had to follow up; 5) in my presence, a gentleman put on a wonderful show declaring that he had money and credit card stolen and they were throwing him out despite having paid in advance. He called the police.

Excellent value. Myroom was recently renovated, large and very comfortable.

I have visited Rome many times. I find this hotel a gem, and particularly an excellent value. Location near the Ostiense train station makes it easily accessible to the airport My room was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff -Meade, Giulia and Denise where super helpful and responsive. Good local restaurants and bars. A 15 minute walk to the colloseum. Possible only downside is no view to speak of.

Spartan hotel, but very clean and with very kind staff.

Very spartan hotel, but very clean; they cleaned my room every morning of the three nights I spent there.
The staff was very kind; they immediately provided me with a hairdryer and are always at my complete disposal.
The cleaning lady was very kind and exceptionally skilled.
For those who want to stay in the Pyramid/Testaccio area, I recommend it for quality/price and cleanliness.

Never again.

Very bad. Poor breakfast. Bad coffee. For one smoked cigarette they apply 100 euro ticket. Unbelievable. Like a bad policeman they start to shout against me.

We are truly sorry to read such a review, especially as it does not reflect what actually occurred during your stay.
You were accompanying a group that behaved impeccably, and as their guide we would have expected the same level of respect. Unfortunately, despite clear no-smoking signs in the room—as is standard in all hotels—you repeatedly smoked inside the room.
At check-out, this was pointed out to you politely by our reception team. However, instead of a calm discussion, you reacted by raising your voice, using inappropriate language, and insulting our staff. The charge applied is a standard penalty for violating the no-smoking policy.
We always strive to treat our guests with courtesy and professionalism, and we expect the same respect in return.
