Ideal hotel to discover the Vatican
Nothing to say about the room, quiet and close to the Vatican (less than 10 minutes walk). Very hearty breakfast.
Good experience.
If you want to visit St Peter's Basilica, go there from the opening at 7:00 am! And come back for breakfast after the tour.

Very professional welcome on arrival with some very good advice for visiting Rome
Rooms cleaned daily

Great location, but experience to review
Unfortunately, however, my experience was not entirely positive. I was allocated a room on the ground floor without any prior communication. I suffer from claustrophobia and the room had no real windows, only a French door with vasistas opening. This did not make me feel safe, especially at night: anyone passing by could look inside and, if they wanted, open the window from the outside.
I asked for a change of room, but the guy at reception not only told me there was no alternative, but also questioned my discomfort, explaining what I should do. An unprofessional attitude. On the contrary, the caretaker was very kind.
The next day, during a heavy downpour, I asked for a simple Band-Aid at reception. I was told they didn't have any and I should go to the pharmacy. When asked about the first aid box, I was told it was there but “without band-aids” and that “by law you can’t keep everything”. This is a perplexing response which highlights the need to review staff training.
In summary: great location and good breakfast, but management and customer care definitely need to be improved.
